MY COLLEGE- ESIC GULBARGA

our college has the best infrastructure amongst all the other government medical colleges. It is completely air conditioned, and with the best quality furnitures in the classrooms as well as it holds the best facilities for the patients in hospital.
The faculties are highly qualified in each and every department.
the exam taking pattern is really impressive. They really focus on learning more than anything.

Dislikes

my college’s hostel has the entry timing of 9:30pm sharp, otherwise fine of 500 is imposed
The food quality is manageable. North indians cuisine is less they don’t serve the best quality food
the city doesn’t has an airport. So we always travel through the nearby airport which is 4 hours away or we travel by train, the station is 6km away.

Course curriculum and examination in the college

The curriculum has the best value and there is nothing fascinating as such about the curriculum cause we don't get sufficient holidays amid our year, but that is okay and manageable. As we have 3 termly exams, they prepare us well for the final university exam. Teachers should focus more on the practical aspects of studies rather than theory The frequency as i have mentioned is apt.

Internship opportunities provided by the college

We have many opportunities after mbbs. Our college provides its own internship with good salary And then we have a year of paid job for 13 lpa which is quite good And students can do neetpg for further preparation

Placement scenario in the campus

We have internships in our own college and our college offers the job for 1 year after the internship with the 13 lakh package per annum. All the students get the job. There is 100 percent placement in my college My plan is to give NEETPG and opt for my dream branch

The detailed fee structure of ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, Gulbarga is as follows The per annum fees for the AIQ students for MBBS Course is 1 lakh. The hostel fees is 10000 per annum. The university registration is somewhere around 6000. The caution deposit is 5000. The fees for MBBS Course for IP quota students is 24000 per annum. The rest things are same.

XTASY our college own fest We have everybook easily accessible in our library, we can issue any book from there The classrooms are airconditioned with the projectors and boards With the theatre rooms The sports that are played are basketball football and volleyball cricket also everysport is played and enjoyed We have student union group for raising voices

We are provides with beds, cupboards and study tables rest things we have to bring The hostel mess food is manageable The registration is done along with the admission fee I didn't rent any room or pg beside my college

Students view on faculties

The faculty to student ratio is 1:4. The faculties are easily approachable and helpful with regard to studies or any personal issues. I really like lavanya ma'am, she taught us pharmacology and she teaches really well, apart from studies also they are really helping in other matters, we can discuss any issues. We have 3 termly exams and 1 final university exam every year. The passing ratio of my batch is really high, 3 students out of 125 failed in 1st year. That's considered really high in MBBS. The facilities that I didn't like are vijay sir from medicine department and praveen sir from FMT department. They are very intrusive and try to indulge more in students personal lives

Eligibility criteria to get admission in the college

I applied in AIIMS and other top government medical colleges. Couldn't get into them cause my marks were less, but luckily got ESIC GULBARGA which is a government institution with the best infrastructure after AIIMS. The admissions are through NEETUG exam. Depends on the cutoff of the respective year. The cutoff during my year was 600 and my marks were 605 so i got this one

Night Life

We don't have gym inside the college campus but in front of the college we have a newly opened gym We have 2 college canteens The timings for last entry in the hostel is 9:30 pm The campus is safe to roam around but outside of campus is not safe at night for girls

I had appleid for many other medical colleges in Kerala,Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and i had even tried for an upgradation after i got this college in my first allotment, but I didn't get any higher options since MBBS allotment processes are strictly based on All India Ranks in NEET-UG exam. After allotment results are published, the dates for joining will be further announced.On the respecrive dates student and a gaurdian should be present at the college academic block with the certificates said in checklist

Medical college with the best infrastructure in India

Admission:

I got Medical College in Maharashtra after Counselling round 1. As I'm a resident of Maharashtra (domicile). In second round of All India Quota counselling I applied for ESIC College. ESIC College is a government college with great facilities, faculties and environment. Good pays are offered so I chose this over that college as this one is quite near to my hometown.

Campus life is pretty chill, there are people from all states of india, but the localities are very few.

Dislikes

i wish we got to hang out in the gardens
The washrooms need to be fixed in the college

I applied to GIMS, MRMC, KBNIMS gulbarga and BMC bangalore, ESIC banglore but i decided to stay in gulbarga and wanted GIMS but my rank was a little bit lower so i got ESIC MC instead of GIMS. I was admitted through NEET UG exam and attended counselling through KEA.

I personally think this college is worth it because students get to.learn a lot from their mentors ,seniors and teachers in functions ,fests and many events there is active participation from staff, students equally and no ragging is seen personally
The Infrastructure is best as it is known for its vast campus They have seperate buildings for mbbs dental and paramedical college and a seperate hospital different many hostels and a residency for the staffs who work in college and hospital.
Here the importance they give to this course is way more compared to other colleges like here the faculty teaching is awesome the attention they give is good and we get a equal chance to learn like mbbs students everything practically.

Dislikes

There is a bit of difference in the way the events are organised between medical and dental college because of the funding we get for events mostly we should put money from our pocket because unlike medical dean our dean doesnt give funds
Infrastructure is good but too dangerous too because from the say im in this college Everywhere u can see the sign of danger because of its weak support and some hostels are also closed just empty buildings are around.

except this college i had applied to Hke dental college in gulbarga itself but i had option to choose so i chose this one actually first time when i saw and heard about this college i decided if i get a chance i will chose this college and i think it was good i did so because first it is a central govt college and secondary the the practical work they make us to do the perfection they bring in us is ammendable U can see day by day our handwork improves and we get confidence that yes we can treat a patient and i think the number of patients coming here is more compared to other colleges. Admission i did was through KEA counselling authority first i went to banglore then i went and saw the available options this was available then we gave the dd over and got the admission order which we took and came next day and in such way i had done my admission .as we know we have to write Neet exam and cutoff varies yearly and for differebt categories overall it was hectic but nice .

ESIC DENTAL COLLEGE

Hostel facility with affordable charges .no need for extra electricity charges and central library is there where books are provided.Also the campus is well maintained and security is good.

Admission:

• My cutoff was little less than getting into a medical college but I choose this college due to following reasons - i)central government registered college ii) have esic quota iii) well managed campus iv) deserving placement v)best faculties vi) best facilities with proper labs ,preclinics and clinics You can also apply to Esic dental college,New Delhi ;if you belong to Delhi and have ip quota •I got other dental college but I choose this one due to the above reasons and it was under the cutoff which I secured. •firstly the approval letter from nmc after selection from neet counselling then a call from college which you get .then there is admission procedure where we have to come to college and provide all the required documents and fees and bond which needs to be submitted. Eligibility - Neet cutoff which keeps varying every year Cutoff can be seen in college website

College review:The worse i write than exam

College infrastructure is very good...this is the reason why most of the people come here,equipments are also good in the hospital
Life here is cool with junior, senior interaction without any ragging and friendly environment,,, some teachers are also like friends with us

Dislikes

The campus just to see only this much huge, but no extracurricular activities,,,, everyone needs recreation, enjoyment, to be healthy physically and mentally but here in this college no place for exercise, walking, running tleast
No hygiene.... As we know these people in these areas are addicted to pan and all,,, so we wont see any neatness around the campus,,, patients and patient relatives also make the campus dirty and untidy

Admission:

After the NEET exam... In the first round I got allotted in KOLKATA later I opted for 2nd round as the place was so far away from my hometown so The eligibility criteria are... We should score the marks, based on the cut-off percentage we get allotted in various colleges After coming to the college we need to get one bond paper signed with one lawyer and have to submit all the certificates, then they give us the application form we need to fill in some details and all and the fee process is difficult for us, because the we need to pay in DD demand drafts it was bit risky for us on first admission I came here by ESIC IP QUOTA where my father's income is below 20000 so I had an opportunity to use that here because of my reservation, IP quota we had less amount of college fees compared to state quota people, The exams are conducted at a good intervals but teaching is not good During the admission process, some of the student volunteers should be there to help students as students can go and interact

Admission:

Eligibility - 12th passed and NEET-UG exam passed students ( 635+) marks candidates are eligible to get seat in mbbs course of our college. Reservation - Esic ip qouta ( 50 marks less students also got ) Frequency of exam - once a year NEET-UG, difficulty - moderate Areas of improvement - rounds of councelling till 6 so that no vacancy of seat till last.
