Remarks

Amazing college. Well reputed and ranks the fourth best medical college in India. Faculty is priceless and very experienced. Hospital patients jntake is quite good. Many patients come from far off places for treatment. A complete new world. Safety is too good. You'll love having a life in manipal.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My college ranks among the best private medical colleges in India. The teachers are dedicated and strict attendance rules make you bound to study. Also if you're graduating from this college, the chances of you getting into abroad for post graduation in good universities increases. The co-curriculum is one of the best in India. The infrastructure, availability of equipments, hospital practice everything is top-notch and worthwhile.

Placement Experience

4.5

Since KMC has a good repo, you are prioritised in most of the hospitals all over India while job placement, also you can open your own clinic after having practised here as you'd gain quite an experience after studying from here and practicing. When it comes to abroad studies and job our college ranks the first since you can do research and make paper as the sources available here are plenty for the same. Yes internship is provided in the college with monthly earning of Rs. 25,000 which is higher than most of the medical colleges in India. A person who's done internship from this college has a great deal of knowledge about all the basic procedures used in medicine, surgery, and can write prescriptions for quite a few ailments.

College Events

5

Invictus (inter college) Verve (inter semester) Keli (KMC event) All these and many more events comprise of all kinds of sport sactivites, Dance competition (solo, group, western, folk) singing competition ( solo, band), literature events (JAM, debating, abstract writing, poem writing etc), fashion show, nukkad natak etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure increases every year by 10 percent. Im currently paying 10,10,000 per year, the UG course being for 4.5 years. The fee structure might seem quite expensive but when you compare it with other private medical colleges both fees and ranking wise, it's all worth it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not availed any until now, but if you've got a good rank in UG NEET (under 3000) and you continue to score above 75 percent here, you can study free of cost here. We can also avail various grants for our reasearches in the college.

Campus Life

4.5

As mentioned above, plenty and very good. Labs are fantastic and of international level. All kinds of sport are entertained. The best sports complex marena belongs to the college where you get amazing facilities for brushing up your skills.also the gym and swimming pool is very well maintained.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are of many types here, basedon the amount you pay you can get an upgradation. Option for mess/canteen, laundry are many and you can choose from them whichever you like, by the end of 3 months you get well adjusted to it. Hostel infrastructure varies from non AC roomto AC room with 5 star facilities and the fee you oay for it is not too high.

Alumni/Alumna

Good alumni network. Not much knowledge. You can refer website for the same. Manipal academy of higher education. There's an alumni meet every year for different batches. It's quite an experience. Seniors arevery helful andguide us through thick and thin.

Admission

I scored 519 marks in NEET 2017. I then applied for this college during the mop up round for counselling in the option for deemed universities. I was selected in KMC Manipal then as i got my admission card.

Faculty

5

Faculty is really supportive and friendly. You can always ask them for all kinds of doubts in the subject. You can go to any faculty with academic realted problem and they are always ready to help. Also each year students are alloted teacher mentors who guide them through the year with all sorts of problems either academic or non academic. The teachers make you feel home here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
