Course Curriculum Overview

3

In the first year of the cse we learn more about physics, chemistry , mathematics and biology. There is only one course of C programming. From second year onwards we are introduced core cse courses along with other courses.

Internships Opportunities

2

No company has visited for placements for the batch of 2026 and majority students get intern offcampus. For core branch a very few companies visit the campus, they do the intern in psu by the network of the faculties.

Placement Experience

3

In the 7th semester we are eligible to sit for placements. In CSE 14 out 60 were placed and not much known companies visit college.Highest on-campus was 10 LPA and average was 8.1 LPA ,with median 9 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

For all categories the fees is ?148300 per semester for 2023 batch,no relaxation for any category so it make the yearly fees around ?296600.There is merit based scholarship which is 25% of total fees for that u should be in the top 10% of the branch.

Campus Life

3

Technical fest-Urjotsavhappens in November ,Sports fest-Energia happens in Feb and Cultural fest-Kaltrang happen in April.Sports infra is not good we don't have full length football ground. Our Auditorium is not according to the capacity of the students admitted in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

We are alloted hostel in the college campus one room is alloted to two students for each individual the room has chair, table, bed and almirah along with two fans.Mess food is okay some people say better than many other colleges.

Admission

I got Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) through my jee advanced rank but after my admission into RGIPT.In IIST most of the students are absorbed into ISRO whereas in RGIPT cse most them goes for private companies.IIST curriculum and studies are research based not the case in Rgipt.

Faculty

4

1:30 is the faculty to student ratio. One can easily meet any faculty and can discuss their problems.Exam are neither easy not hard one can pass easily by studing one night before exam but for getting good grade, he will have to put in efforts. The course curriculum is like that of IITs here in the first year we studied PCMB along with a course of C programming.

Night Life

1

Library remains open from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm normally but when exams comes it remains open till 2:00 am.There is no timings for hostel you can roam around in the campus any time. For going out of the campus the timing is from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.There is no such hang around in night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
