Course Curriculum Overview

2

Course Curriculum is worse (I am talking about the Electrical Eng.) They even do not know when to teach and what to teach. No real industry skills just the book knowledge. make the notes and just remember it to score. In our course the name is Electrical Eng. Major in Electric Vehicle and there is no proper teaching for the electric vehicle part , literally of no use

Internships Opportunities

3

As I already said , Petro and Chemical branch get companies for internship both PSUs (ONGC, HPCL , BPCL , SAIL) and Private(Exonn Mobil , HLS Asia etc). The tech branches got no companies , students themselves got opportunity. In Bangalore we are seeing companies for internship and placement.

Placement Experience

4

The Tech branches are new so placement is worse. Petroleum and Chemical branch is far better in terms of placement, PSUs come for them only. Tech Branches are shifted to Bangalore Campus for their final year, for batch 2021 they saw few companies highest was by PhonePe 24lpa. Now for my batch 2022 , we have still time till next year. few companies visited our campus highest was by Flipkart 33lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

For 2022 batch the Fees per semester is 1,23,000 and Mess charges is 20,000. For the next year addmissions the fees is increased by 5,000. The SC,ST category fees is 98,000 and mess charges is same for all. Merit cum is provided to top 3 students per branch , they get 25,000 off on the fees.

Campus Life

4

Fests occur and events are great tho. Students Chapters are present and they also do events. Overall this Events culture is good. Campus is not so big but descent enough. Library is small according to the crowd. Books are available for everyone. Sports Events are held too and Medical Facilities are good here.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel Facility is free for everyone and it is not a day scholar college. Mess is good , food taste is descent enough and timmings are good that everyone gets the food. Hostel has great facilities , clean washrooms , strong wifi and ample space for everyother thing

Admission

I went for the sake of Govt. college name which turned out of no use as teaching and support is very bad. Also my course name is just a gimmick. Our college admits students on JEE Advanced and for left over seats they use JEE Mains Score. Till 90 percentile in JEE Mains students can get this college. The addmission is not through the JoSAA , it has a separate website.

Faculty

3

Faculty is not at all helpful , they can just teach the book subject. No focus on skills which are necessary for industry. Exams depends how you remember things not on what you learn. only focus on attendance , students get the grade on the mercy of the professor or the relation you can say.

Night Life

4

Nightlife is good , Library is open till 2 AM and Canteen is opened till 3 AM. Students can not go outside after 8pm Jais campus and for Bangalore till 10pm. Security is good but outside college it is not safe to walk in night time. College is in very remote location.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
