An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

Course design is decent but quality professors are not here to teach these. DSA, COA, OS , DL doesn't have good faculty to teach. NLP, Quantum Computing doesn't have good faculty. Reinforcement Learning has very good professor. Computer Network has a good professor: Dr Akash Yadav. Here no real world based teaching. You will have to do it by yourself. Exam difficulty level is medium to easy. Frequency is high , almost 1 exam every month.

Internship for Chemical and Petroleum students are fantastic. But CSE students get the internship by their own. College is very bad at providing internship to CSE students. As of now , no student in my batch got on campus internship.

As of now , CSE graduating students are getting placed. Out of 120 , 35 are placed in companies like ZOMATO, PHONEPE , JP MORGAN, Zepto, WNS etc. 50% on campus , 50% off campus. Last year, all the CSE students will be in Bangalore centre of RGIPT for better placement offers. 3 years at jais campus and last year at Bangalore campus. Placements till now are not good. I want to enter to a good ai company . Placement percentage is low but package is good , all above 10 Lpa.

Yearly total fees (tution+ hostel & mess) for gen/ews/obc is 2.8 lakh per annum. For SC/ST it is 2.3 lakh per annum. Fees for Other CSE students is almost same. If your income is below 3 lakh and your are from up , you get up scholarship of 64k per year. If you are SC/ST then you get scholarship of 93k per annum from up govt only if your domacile is up. College has one special scholarship which is McM scholarship for only those whos family income is below 8 lakh and falls in ews/ewc and have scored cpi above 8. I am getting this scholarship since my first year. The amount is 50k per year. Apart from this , this college is very expensive and has less ROI.

Infrastructure is fantastic. Clubs here suc*s. Food and mess fantastic. Sports is descent. Festival and fests are descent. You don't need to buy any book for your studies, you get all the books in the library itself.

Room is fantastic with the infra. 2 fans. You may use your own. Meal quality is fantastic. Manu is according to the students. Students decide the menu. When you go home make sure to entry the mess absent to secure yearly refunds. Mess is good as per the cost. Breakfast is fucking good.

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT conducts its own admission process through its portal. Cutoff for JEE advanced was around 30-35k rank. Admission was smooth process.

Faculties are in very less number. Also very few of them are real professors. So many are just bad speaker and egoistic. CSE Professors don't know what to do and teach. Lab work is absolutely a lie. No quality phd student TA for us. In AI some professors are good like Vivek Baghel sir and some maths professors like Manoj sir. Some physics professors are fantastic like , Vipin Amoli sir and Tathmay basu sir. One electronics professor is also very good but behaviour is strange: HoD of Electronics. Exams here are very easy to medium. 1 week of intense preparation is enough to score 8 cpi. Course design is decent. Mostly modern subject. Gargi mam : she looks into T&P and her nature is very very very bad. She also teaches like a hell.

Gym is good. Night canteen till 3 AM. LIBRARY till 12 AM when no exams and till 2 AM when exams. Full campus is open 24x7 without any restriction. No limited timing for boys hstels anytime , anywhere all open. May be girls hostel closes by 12 AM. Hangout anytime anywhere.
