Course Curriculum Overview

1

The course curriculum for tech branches still need to be improved as many important courses are not taught due to lack of faculties. The college still lacks necessary required labs for many branches which can give students hands on experience and make them industry ready. The exam occours timely as mentioned in academic calendar and are moderately difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

For every semester college academic fee was 123300 and mess charge was 20000. For SC and ST it was 98300. The institue doesn't provide any scholarship except a fee waiver for EWS/OBC students who performed well in 1st semester, but student can opt for student loan at low interest rate provided by Bank of Baroda in campus.

Campus Life

3

Overall campus experience was descent with roller coaster of emotions at times we were delighted by infrastructure with well equiped clasrooms with smart projecters, speakers, etc but the sports facilities in the institute are not good at all also all the fest are held her in a single week in november whicj includes sports fest, tech fest, etc the fests are improving with increasing participation over years. There are also social groups like dram club, dance club, sports club, science club, etc which all are active only for time around fest rest time they are dormant.

Hostel Facilities

4

In this college hostel is necessary. The hostel has very good infrastructure, cleanliness is top priority. Students are offered double sharing room of descent size. The mess food is descent too for which 20000 is charged every semester. Hostel charges are included with academic fee.

Admission

For all the colleges I have applied I decided to go with this college as it is an institute of national importance and it appeared more appealing compared to colleges that i was getting. I qualified JEE Advanced but my rank was not enough for IIT so I chose this college as it select candidates based on thier rank in JEE Advanced. For admission in college one need to apply on institues website after which in 2 round list of selected candidates is released based on their rank annd their prefrences.

Faculty

3

For tech branches no of faculties required is lacking as tech brances are very new but for chemical and petroleum braches it is great. The curriculum for tech branches is very irregular due to lack of faculty and is very random. There 8 semester for each mid sem and end sem are held. The paper is set at descent level and most of students clear exam.

Interview Experience

4

No I didn't face any interview or written test during my admission process the admission process is purely on the basis of rank in jee advanced and priorities mentioned on website during resgistration.

Night Life

3

The college is loacted at very remote location so not much nightlife at all. Also the in and out timings are very strict students can't be out after 10 PM and cant go out before 8 AM unless they get permission from hostel authorities. The college gym is well equiped and descent. There is also canteen which operates specially in night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) There is no specific aspect of being a Biology student in 12th. I did not got enough marks in neet exam that why I chose Biotechnology as a course in my undergrad. 2) Curriculum will well prepare us for real-world applicationa dn further also to purse academic pursuits. 3) The course curriculum must give students a clear picture of where we can see our future to earn money after completing the course, and the teaching method must be more practical rather than theoretical. 4) Frequency and timing of exams are good and enough time is provided to prepare for it and diffculty will be medium to average level not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KCC Institute are not very strong but okay for average students. From 6th semester students can sit in placement drives. Few known companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and some local firms come every year. Not everyone gets placed, only those who are serious and prepared get selected. Around half of the students manage to get a job from campus. Average salary is around 3 LPA and highest goes up to 5–6 LPA for few lucky and skilled students. Mostly entry-level and trainee roles are offered. If you depend only on college, it is tough, self learning is important.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum here ensures great development of a kid, as PCB background students are eligible for the course, the curriculum ensures that they study the concepts of mathematics from basics and they are in no problem Well as far as the curriculum is considered , theres not much need of improvement its just new teaching methods or maybe smart boards should be installed in every classroom The college gets a hectic for a day or two But its manageable and we get enough breaks
