Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course offers flexibility to some extent with the concept of electives from 3rd year. All basics are cleared from the starting of the course and continuity is good. Overall if ready to work honestly, the course curriculum is perfect to land you a job.

Internships Opportunities

4

The provision of internship is mostly available for the Final year students and recently the college has started providing internship opportunities for the 3rd year students as well for their summer internship.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are better this year. More than 50 companies have visited the campus for the recruitment and more than a 100 students have been placed from CSE. The highest package was offered by Morgan Stanley, followed by Tally Solutions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees when I joined Christ University was 175000 for 1st 2 years And 200000 for last 2 years . It is different for Foreign students and also different for NRI students which roughly comes arround 300000 per annum.

Campus Life

4

Campus life at Christ University is an enriching and holistic experience that seamlessly blends academics, social interactions, and personal growth, all supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure. The vibrant social atmosphere of the university is characterized by an eclectic mix of students from diverse cultural and regional backgrounds, fostering a sense of inclusivity and mutual respect. The university encourages students to actively participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, with numerous student-led clubs and associations catering to a wide range of interests, from performing arts and literature to technology and entrepreneurship. These clubs not only provide a platform for students to showcase their talents but also serve as a means of developing leadership skills, teamwork, and networking abilities. Events like cultural fests, debates, and hackathons are regular highlights of campus life, creating a lively and engaging environment that extends beyond the classroom. Christ University’s infrastructure plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall student experience. The sprawling campus is equipped with modern classrooms, well-maintained libraries, advanced laboratories, and spacious auditoriums, all designed to facilitate academic excellence. The focus on technology integration is evident in the availability of high-speed internet, online learning platforms, and other digital resources that keep students connected and informed. Additionally, the university provides excellent sports and recreational facilities, including gymnasiums, sports complexes, and green open spaces that encourage physical fitness and stress relief. The campus also houses serene prayer halls and chapels, reflecting the institution’s emphasis on spiritual well-being and moral values.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are clean and well maintained. Only problem is that food is not allowed inside the hostel and the in time is by 10pm. You can make use of the vending machines placed at the block halls. There are many pg and rooms available for rent outside the campus and there is a huge variety of them too.

Admission

Christ was a better option due to its location and name in the market. The fee was also affordable and the selection process was also student friendly. The main reason to not choose other colleges was location and fee. Admission in Christ included a test with PCMB and social concepts. Selected students then moved on to the online interview with the faculty.

Faculty

4

Faculties are good. Most of them are PhD holders and rest are persuing it. Course structure is set well with 5 subjects in each semester and it includes 3 internals and an end semester exam of 100 marks

Night Life

3

It is peaceful to stay inside the campus till the allowed time (9:30pm). There is no such kind of night life outside the campus as it comes on the outskirts of Bangalore. You can surely take the metro from Challagatta and also the bus service start right from the front area of the college. There are fests that happen at night which are worth attending.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good but I feel the vtu syllabus is too basic, even in the higher sems, which should be improved. The electives also were too broad and hence not much useful. I also feel more than theory we should be trained and allowed to comeup with self solutions without pressure or restrictions to let the real ability of the student to surface

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose electronics and communications wholeheartedly. Since my childhood, I was very interested in electronics and very humble in learning new topics in digital electronics. I was never a coding guy, so I took electronics and communications as my course. It was an easy choice for me. So class's average strength is around 65 to 70. And the faculty: student ratio is quite good. The teachers are well qualified and most of them are doctorate holders. The timetable is arranged in a manner such that there is smooth conduction of classes for all-year students. The exams are semester wise and there will be internals every month. Questions are better, you have to know little bit contents taught in classes and also from textbooks. It is easy to pass.
