Likes

Teachers are well qualified and their teaching methods are pragmatic
Seniors are friendly and always ready to help.
Seminars and Talk shows are organised evey now and then.

Dislikes

Most of the time, classes are canceled without prior notice
Infrastructure is mediocre and there is no dedicated sports ground for different sports.
College doesn't encourage students to pursue professional courses along with graduation

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is vibrant and includes real life subjects like Financial Literacy, Web Development, etc along with Domain specific subjects. Language is also included in every semester usually Hindi and English alternatively.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 12800 per year

Placement Experience

The college offered an average package of 4.2LPA last year and the highest package was 10LPA for Bcom. Companies like KPMG India, Wipro, Google visit the college for placements. In 2021-22 , 190 students secured college placements from DCAC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for Bcom Programme in DCAC is ?30,465.It includes the tuition fees, admission and registration fees. Other charges like Lab fees, Cultural Programme fee is exclusive of this fees. There are no scholarahips available with the college and also the fees is same for every category.

Campus Life

The college organises cultural programmes every month. Most of them are organised by the Societies like Yuva, Prakriti, etc. Sports tournaments are also orgainsed in the college which includes Cricket, Kabaddi, Football, BasketBall, Chess, Volleyball etc

Admission

My dream college was SRCC but due to my CUET score of 716, I got DCAC in the 2nd Round of Counselling. In the first round, I was alloted Motilal Nehru College but after comparing these two colleges, I decided to go for upgrade as DCAC was better than Motilal Nehru College. The admission process for DCAC is same as other DU affiliated colleges i.e through CSAS.

Faculty

The faculty of Commerce is well qualified and supportive to the students. Teachers use practical approaches while explaining certain topics. Real world examples are used. Every month tests are conducted in every subject to test the progress of students. Tests are mostly easy and anyone with one night preparation can easily pass.

Night Life

The college is in Netaji Nagar, New Delhi and the closest nightout place is Netaji Nagar Market which is around 500m from the college. Also, there are no Gyms or Libraries in a radius of 2km from the college.

WHY SHOULD OPT FOR DU COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

The course curriculum of Janki Devi Memorial College is quiet relevant and covers the important areas of the subject in a structured way one of the reasons I preferred this course was it is designed according to Delhi University standards and the syllabus is recognise and useful for higher studies the combination of theory papers skill enhancement courses and internal assessment help in building clear understanding of the subject.The curriculum helps in writing resources and critical thinking skills which are useful not only in exams but also for future academic and professional work at the same time, I feel that adding move practical sessions, workshop, or more project based learning with me the course more engaging and closed to Real world applications. Exams are held in the form of internal assessment during semester and final University exam at the end.Exams schedule is manageable and the difficult level is moderate.

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management,ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable

DELHI UNIVERSITY - A GREAT HEADSTART

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.

Honest review of DCAC

DCAC and It's Crowd

I gave Cuet exam to take admission in this college. This college was on 7th rank in my preferences list as this college is not.much popular and as a outsider I knew only few college of Delhi University but because of normalisation process my marks cut down from 720 to 689 out of 800 which resulted my admission in DCAC.
