Remarks

Positive remark is that there is no students union, and which make campus peaceful and happy, there is no protest and class halt for any reason, and I think this is good and positive thing in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum and exam structure is not so complicated, it's too easy and comfortable for any student, please go and see the Jamia millia islamia web site. It's very friendly and helpful if you really want to apply in Jamia millia islamia,

Placement Experience

4

My college has its own placement cell, where Major companies come to hire pass out students, and it comes in good numbers with good salary package. I have also appeared in one of those interviews and I found that they manage very well.

College Events

4

My college celebrate various events, and the best of them is Meeras, Foundation Day, etc Where all types of programs and activities display for students, if you are interested in any activity like dancing singing nukkad natak etc you can participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Not expansive, but very feasible. And except self finance courses all the courses are so cheap and less than 10000 per annum, Because it's a central University, and you need to pay only for a few things and those are so cheap.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a lot of scholarship but for minorities, and for poor people, And you are eligible for the scholarship if you are under the criteria which scholarship terms, And there are also some scholarship which you can avail.

Campus Life

4.5

For external activities and sports there is a big opportunity to participate in them and make your name, like Verendra Sahwag also was here and started his career in Cricket here in Jamia. As well as here you will find a good opportunity in art field.

Hostel Facilities

4

I admire here that because of lack of hostel , hardly you will get a hostel, but if you are lucky and got hostel then enjoy the in few amount a very good facility. It gives you accommodation and food as well as all other facilities which a student need.

Alumni/Alumna

There are alumni association which works with the campus, and have a separate department in this University for alumni, This is very helpful for current students to be in touch with them and seek the help for any needs.

Faculty

4.5

My faculty members and all the teachers are so helpful and very friendly, if you are facing any problem they will help you wether in study matter or any other matters, I highly recommend the new coming students to feel free to ask any question from the faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Continuous and comprehensive evaluation or CCE is a well-structured formula and anyone in the system can learn from it and get the benefits from it as well. The termwise assessments are the proofs that one can derive inspiration from it.

Delhi University - [DU], Master of Arts [MA] (East Asian Studies)
Reviewed on Jan 17, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course considering my interest in East Asian culture and Languages. The Faculty: Student ratio is 1:40 and most of the professors are Ph.D scholars. The teaching method comprises reading books and learning after it which stipulates the form of an ancient education system like any other mediocre Indian University. "An important factor to consider is that faculty sometimes fell short due to a shortage of subject masters(or should I say language) For example, Chinese faculty is much in number and experience than Korean and Japanese while the latter suffer the incompetency of the number of faculty. Term exams happened to be very fast but it was due to the internal issues that remain consistent in DU and except that there would be tons of Internal Assessments that play a major role in one's SGPA. Exam level - Hard!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in knowing more about the politics of the country, additionally, it was going to help me out with my UPSC optional. Though the faculty-student ratio has increased now, still professors are easily accessible to discuss. One can approach their chambers, also each student gets an academic advisor allotted. The faculty here is one of the best in the country, even overseas. That is the foremost reason why students want to be here. The teaching method is very impersonal, where Faculty itself has the power to design the syllabus and assess them as they want. The course is not easy, and rigorous and one should engage properly in the readings to write good answers and develop a deep understanding. Centre for political studies (CPS) takes two mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam in a semester.

This is one of the best institutions of India and I'm proud to be here But there are many things to be improved. Like the infrastructure to be updated and also new hostels should be constructed. Also the management is mostly reluctant towards students issues. We have to protest to get our rights here.
