Remarks
Overall the university is good as it's central university and said so the fee is also bearable for financially deprived students. Faculty is good who teach you about subject with focus. The infrastructure is pretty good like ghalib park , tagore auditorium, art gallery etc. One of the biggest library is in jamia.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum for msc physics is within the guidelines of the ugc. In total of 4 semester there will be 18 papers with 3 labs and a project. There will two midterms exams followed by the end semester exam and the practical exam. The labs need to be attended regularly by students.
Placement Experience
There is separate placement department of jamia which deals with it and they help the physics Department student for it. Placement guidance is provided by them through seminars. The companies that come are wipro, Azeem Premji Foundation, Chegg Expert and others.
College Events
Several events are being hosted from day to day right from quiz competition to gaming events. Conference and seminars on different topis are held on CPT. The participants are mainly students of UG and PG courses. Cultural events are also hosted by South Indian students with the stalls of dishes and accessories.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. Fee is paid Annually and for Pg course physics it will be under 8000 per year including all the tution fee, library, game etc. No hidden charges are there. Almost for Each course fees is below 10K which is good in comparison to DU colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it's a central university fees is already less. But for meritorious students there is scholarship. Some Government funded scholarship are also there for students who come from weak background financially like Dr. Apj abdul kalam scholarship.
Campus Life
Since it's a minority driven university most students are Muslims but there is a good amount of students coming from all backgrounds studying in harmony and peace. Student politics is not in jamia as every student is focused in making his own career
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are pretty heplfull who provide you with previous years paper and stuff. Also they tell how to approach a particular subject to avoid any problem. Alumni network is also strong. Seniors hepl you in understanding the environment and dos/don'ts for a particular faculty
Admission
Admission solely depends upon the meet list prepared after giving the entrance exam. Registration of Entrance Exams starts in the month of March, April. Exam happens in the month of June. One should keep an eye on the official website of jamia to know when registration opens.
