Remarks

I had kept Hindu, hansraj and Kirori Mal above Venky in my cuet preference in discipline of Mathematics. And I got Venky in First Round. But I had accepted this preference and not applied for Up gradation. However if I had upgraded I must have got some college of North Campus But I didn't. The reason for this lies in the aura of this college. As I have researched and found that it is best college of South Campus and has a great faculty of Mathematics. Also the location of college is in prime location which makes travelling easy. Also I have heard lot about of societies in this college. These are reason for choosing this college. I have a good cuet score may be I can got a college of North. Only reason for keeping other colleges above Venky is that all other are North Campus Colleges, you can call it a obsession with North campus. The Admission procedure for our college is just same like that all other colleges that is on the basis of cuet score. You have to score around 600 to get into merit list ( figures may vary for reserved categories) . The most preferred course of our college is Bsc, and Boom. Overall the admission process is good and quite supportive. They help students in all way they can during admission and even during verification.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

We have 50 students in class. We have 100 students in our specialization. And 300 students in three years Girl boy ratio is 2:3. same for college also. There is a rich cultural diversity in our class. People belong from different states like Up, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, and Chennai bringing cultural richness. Majority of the students are from Up, and Haryana The peer group is very much hardworking and sincere and well equipped with etiquettes and skills which motivates me to always learn something new. Yes we have marks for participating class which is called continuous assessment which holds 30% weightage in final exams. Yes mostly students who wants to pursue this field further attend classes genuinely. However some have other aim does it but not regularly.

However concession is provided to SVC Staff (around 75%) and to PwBD ( negligible fee of 500-700) Categories # Also the college provides freeship to deserving students, after a verification process The freeship is provided purely on the basis of Economical status . On an Average 300-400 are getting it and the amount provided in freeship is of around 6000/year and you have to renew it every year.

Campus Life

2.5

Every sports facility is available in college in sports wing. We have badminton court, tennis court, basketball court, Table tennis, Cricket net etc. No we do not have gym in our college. No we don't have swimming pool. The auditorium and library is very nice and is accessible to all. Library timings are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. No I don't have ideas about third party database. The size of campus is around 15 acres. The hostel is around 300m from main building. All travel on foot only. No it is not allowed to have a car and bike. Yes parents can visit the hostels. But they are not allowed to stay there. No other food joints Ye we have Medical Center in our college for medical facilities. Yes it is sufficient for everyone. Ye obviously they are qualified. The overall college life is very good. It has developed new skills in me as well as takes away bad habits of me. I have learnt to be productive. We mostly play cricket after our classes. Most students do the same. Till 9 hostlers can roam in garden and playground but they are not allowed inside campus. The major spots of hanging out are Maggie point, Romeo Juliet lane, canteen inside and campus and for outside we have satya Nike tan which is filled with lot of cafes. We have several cultural fest in our college from time time but our Annual first Nexus is the best one which takes place in February or March. Recently Mohit Chauhan has camr to perform during our annual fest The major clubs are faa, NSS, Exordium. I was part of Exordium. Different branch students have different societies which could be beneficial for all. But for all the students Debating society is needful. No Foreign students exchange program

Hostel Facilities

* Yes Boys and girls have seperate hostels. No they aren't allowed to enter others hostel rooms * There is one hostel for boys and one for girls. Both are equally good. * Hostel allocation is done on the basis of Cuet score and distance of home city from Delhi for those who have filled for hostel. And at last Personal interview takes place. * Now we Will look at Hostel fees Structure: Admission fees- 500 Furniture Fees- 750 Medical and Counselling Fee- 1000 Garden Fee- 150 Development Fees- 2800 Hostel Sports And Cultural Fees- 1500 Mess Charges- 3350/month Maintenance Charge - 4950/ month Room Rent- 750/ month Electricity and Water charges- 1050/month * The students can remain outside till 9 at night. There is enough freedom during daytime. However at night there are some restrictions. * Yes fooding is included. *No there is no seperate cafeteria. They have a common mess room. . * Food quality is good as told by hostlers. The menu changes every week. * There are two guards at entry who does verification. *There is only one three sharing room option * Yes all these above stated facilities are provided *We have common washrooms. Washroom and Room is cleaned in every 3 days * 6 person shares the washroom

Exam Structure

The admission in our college is purely done on the basis of Cuet. Which requires to give exam of respective domain in Cuet. Cuet Is Conducted in May. Then On basis of Cuet score rankings are made and preference wise colleges are alloted in four rounds and two spot round which takes place for around 1month. After freezing allocation of Venky. They verify documents online and Register your admission in 3 days after freezing your preference. Then afterwards classes start in July. And after classes commencement they have physical verification within 10 days. Cuet is the only exam for admission in our college. And it requires 600-650 marks for general category to get admission in it No, I don't think there is any other way to get admission as it is purely guided and controlled by Delhi University itself.

Faculty

The overall academic climate of Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology is demanding yet supportive. The course provides a challenging curriculum to give a holistic understanding about engineering principles. However, the students do face complete failure seldom and some have considerable problems in some of the subjects due to the heavy burden of assignments. One good aspect of the course is that the curricula are well-structured with hands-on projects and practical sessions, but at times the sheer number of assignments overburdens the students. There are two major exams per semester, while normally 4-6 classes take place daily, each lasting 50 minutes, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM; however, this leaves some space for personal study or group discussion. Faculty uses a combination of lectures, interactive sessions, and demonstrations on practical work to engage the students actively with real-life examples. However, Sreyas has a mandatory attendance policy, where the student needs to follow at least 75 percent attendance in every subject to appear in his exams. If one fails to collect such attendance percentage then he could be barred from sitting in the exams or getting extra assignments, and this issue had gone wrong with some of the students' performances in their subjects. Although very demanding, the academic environment in Sreyas is nurtured with helpful faculty and balanced learning.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college
