Likes

I liked that teachers are extremely helpful towards the students
Campus is really beautiful, lots of cafes/restraunts
Great events and fests also balanced study life

Dislikes

Campus is comparatively smaller than other colleges
The class timings are to much from morning 9 to afternoon 5
The college fee is too high also compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

As my college is autonomous they can change the sylabus as they want , and thats really great they dont follow the same okd sylabus and change the sylabus according to the needs of the industry. Exams are heigld each month so enough time

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Over all i am paying 20 lakhs for 4 years in which 6lakhs is for the seat (i am from management) and 3.5 lakhs/year is the course fees . If you come from kcet your fees get reduced to 1.5lakhs/ year which is just 6 lkahs for 4 years , they provide scholarship worth 25k for students who got above 85% in their 12th class.

Campus Life

Every year there is an even call sargam , which is the biggest event heild at the end of November its is a 2 days event and more than 400 colleges participate in this event. This year baadshah is coming to our college during sargam . There are around 30 clubs in our college , but you cant join them in first year but have to wait till you get to 2nd year

Admission

I had 10 colleges in my list and my college was also one of them , i chose this one because in management criteria my college was comparitevely cheaper in CSE and had good placements record of 8lpa average for cse students

Faculty

Each class consists of 65 students , in CSE there are almost 600 students amd around 100 teachers aprox , there are total of 4 examinations first id CIE1 then CIE2 , then Labs , THEN SEI , where cie are test exams and SEI is the sem end exam

Night Life

Night life is also good around college there are 7-8 restraunts/cafe , there is a huge library which is open 24/7 , also there is small gym in the campus . As for hostel students the curfew time is 10pm before that they should be inside the campus

Because sirikulam in terms of Reliance and comprehensive or not really good time period is very less so far academy here and we can't have time to study well and are many and I didn't expect this before college joining

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training and pre placement started for student from the first year itself like aptitude training coding resume workshops. The top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM tech Mahindra mind tree. The average is 8lpa. The highest 54 LPA. Overall 80% of students get placed in the final year. My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

The best option was new horizon college as they have good infrastructure and proper studies oriented programs which help us in abroad studies if interested. i wasnt rejected from any of the college i applied.
