Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is well designed keeping in mind what is the current best need for that very subject and is advanced upto the level of foreign universities. The course properly aligns with the real world needs today and also every student has got the right there to ask and convince the professors to make necessary changes in the curriculum pattern. The uniformity of the lectures should be improved by all of the professors as there are plenty of times when professors calls the class and then cancel it abruptly.

Placement Experience

5

After 3rd semester students become eligible. Around 10 companies visited and made around 20 offers Highest package was 6.3LPA & the average was around 5LPA for executive positions. 70% of the students got placed. I have also got a placement from the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

75000/annum that is 150000 for 2 years course. Apart from the above mentioned fees, I paid 2700 per semester on the account of examination fees. Same fees for every category. Merit based scholarship are available based on the marks obtained in graduation.

Campus Life

5

There are many fests going every year which I can't even count. So, I won't be describing any of it. But I bet no one can complain about the fests whether it be technical or fun fests everything is on point. Library has got superb collection of books from every field. Facilities & technologies in the classroom is world class with smart boards, AC, cushioned seats and what not. Sport activities are comparatively lower as compared to similar colleges. There are many students led clubs and societies which helps every student to take part and excel in their desired field.

Admission

I applied for CUSB, Gaya and got selected there as well but I opted for this college because of the course curriculum as the curriculum at CUSB is very old fashioned and orthodox. I got a rejection at JNU as I was unable to crack the entrance there. The admission process at MIT is quite simple, you just need to apply at the registration website on college's site and then someone from the admission department will assist you for further steps.

Faculty

4

Talking about my course, the student to faculty ratio was around 8 students per professor. The professors were well in reach and are very supportive. Dr. Soma Mishra is one of the assistant professor at Environmental Sciences Department who is very supportive and helpful at every instance. Also, Dr. Pankaj Koparde is very helpful. There are 2 exams per semester and the exams are easy in nature generally except in few papers. Papers taken by Dr. Pankaj is quite tough but all the other papers are very easy.

Interview Experience

4

There will be personal interview and written entrance for the admission.the interview will be interactive and will be challenging as well. Interview can be prepared by clearing out the subject basics and the written exam is all about your course and the subject you're opting for. Preparation should be disciplined and not to be taken lightly.

Night Life

4

There are two open gyms in the college campus. One very big canteen which is somewhat like a restaurant with every type of cuisines. And there are 3 very cosy and calm cafeterias named Encave which is open cafe and have a very good vibe there. There are plenty of cafes, food joints & clubs outside the campus where students go and chill. Also, FC Road street shopping adds an added advantage.

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.
