- Cleanliness and maintenance are two good factors,,the hostel and campus is really well maintained and cleaned
- Classroom facilities are good.Air Conditioned classrooms and interactive boards are provided
- Provides medical assistance.Doctors are available at morning and evening timings
Dislikes
- Less hours of free time. Time managing is difficult
- Limited leaves allowed, if they approve for leave also we need to stay back after semester and we should pay 700 per day which is most difficult
- Food sometimes are not properly cooked .
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum and training are the best part of the college.They provide good training for every batches.Practical sessions make every student to crack interviews and be a good worker.Exams are moderately hard.Exams are of 70 marks in which 35 is minimum pass marks
Placement Experience
College has quite good placements,, the one who cleared all his subjects without getting an arrear will get placed by companies coming and they will have an interview section also.The one who performs will get placed,,anyway they are providing placements like almost 85 to 95% students are getting placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly 350000 and extra 25000 for caution deposit and hostel fees and other fees are included in yearly fees. Exam fees are 4650 for first semester.Other than this course there are many other course costing different amonts and duration like 400000 for 1 year etc.
Campus Life
Very good campus life but will be little away from the casual life cause maritime training requires that and they are providing good assistance. Still they conduct multiple programs and events to be entertained.,,and especially mental health classes are given too
Hostel Facilities
Accommodation is quite good where four persons are allotted in a room with a bed a table a chair a cupboard. The accommodation is spacious and well maintained . The bathrooms are also fine with a common wasing area and seperate washrooms
Admission
I applies for AMET college and TOLANI college but at the end HIMT was the college which was affordable and provided good placements along with efficient training. The other colleges,,one was too expensive thats the reason i didnt join,,the other was lacking in placements. So I think I chose the best college Eligibility consist of Be in imucet rank list Need good percentage in 12th and 10th Clear the college interview
Faculty
Faculties are good. They are wuite approachable for any issues. Some of the best faculties are Bharathi Mam, Uma Mam , Capt. Anand Subhramanyam because their communication skills are pretty good and they teaches us in a quite understandable way
Night Life
They are provuding gym and many other facilities where we can include ourselves in physical activities sports etc,, they are providing a football ground, basketball court, swimming pools , badminton court , and many other indoor sports and also canteen and library
