The delay in the process of administration
Classes being canceled at the last minute
For students living further away. Its a problem commuting with late classes

Course Curriculum Overview

Well after alot of changes in the nep policies its new for both teachers and students. But one thing that is still constant is unnecessary memorising of notes. Which i find irrelevant and not comprehensive.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 12903 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for my course is 12903 and its not increasing. I am pretty satisfied with it. No one around me in my college have had problem witb fees in consideration to affordability. And the facilities provided clearly justify the fees

Campus Life

Clubs in my college are quite non active except for a few of them which are acting dance singing etc. the campus life is okay-ish not very good as there isnt much connection to other colleges. Else its good we have availability of everything near by from cafes to stationery and everything in between.

Admission

Admission process is very complicated specially for students living further away. Alot of my friends living away had issues. But my college is pretty satisfactory. I wanted to make it to St. Stephens but that wasnt possible because of lesser marks.

Faculty

The faculty in my college is great. Teachers are upto the mark. Very helpful and also focuses on soft skils with all the academics. The exam structure is also quite simple including ca ia and written test

Night Life

THERE US NO SUCH NIGHTLIFE AROUND MY COLLEGE. Its a girls college and students have alot of time boundations. We have clubs and cafes around our college like hudson lane is just 15 minutes away but no one really goes there .

Other Applied Colleges

St Stephen's College | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (English)

This college wasnt really upto the mark and nirf ranking was also pretty low. Considering the conditions of washrooms and drinking water facilities as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

DESHBANDHU COLLEGE BEST CHAPTER OF MY LIFE SO FAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I applied to almost all colleges offering the course that i have chosen, i got confirmed admissions in majority of them, however I chose this college because of it's location, unique exposure and the faculty. However, some of the colleges I applied to rejected me too, as this course is highly competitive and very few colleges offer this course, I acknowledge that I am not the best and hence I lost my spot in those colleges. The admission process : - Sit for the cuet exam - Portal opens for admission to all du colleges after one or two months, register there. - Admission happens in three phases through the portal ? registration, making and submission of the preference list (course wise and college wise) and lastly the allotment. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

There are only 10 colleges offering BBE in Delhi University. So, therefore, the course is high in demand. It is a professional course so the college is still in the process of adapting to a professional setting. I applied for all other colleges offering BBE in DU, and got admitted here via the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). My preference was to go to Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce to pursue this same course, but the cutoff for the same is very high.
