BBA provides a hands on experience on business sector and helps students in the corporate world very much in developing skills. The curriculum is totaly based on corporate world and provides vast knowledge on corporate well being. Teachers need to be more interactive with the students and course curriculum needs to be revised.

Internships are compulsory in the programme and college provides and helps students in getting them. Companies like Wipro, TATA, offer internships and students are free to find internships on their own. Internships are based on the roles of HR, Marketing Finance etc.

Students are eligible for placements after 4th semster TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, PWC, KPMG are the major recruiters and approx 10 offers made. The highest package was around 600000 offered by PWC students who apply for placements gets placed and records 100% placemnets. I was placed in TCS and currently work here

The yearwise fees structure is 50000 per semester The tuition fees is 50000 per semester and caution fees is 10000. Registration charges are 1000. Lab fees are included in the semester fees. There are schorlarships based on the results of CET exams.

All the major events in Bengal are observed here in IEM. The library is quite vast and holds around 10000 books and journals from all sectors. classrooms are equipped with projectors and computers. Inter college Football championships are held every year with top colleges participating in it.

I applied for UEM, Amity and Techno University and chose IEM as my alma mater due to the placement records and high value for money. I did not get a rejection from the other colleges, it's just that I got offer from IEM earlier. Addmission process was totally based on CET exams and merit. Exams are general based on class 10 and 11 standards.

faculty to students ratio is 1:25 and teachers are very helpful and appraochable. Prof Saikat Chakrvarty is helpful and has vast knowledge on the teaching materials Prof Rajdeep is sligthly dislikable as he is very new to the profession and studnets find it hard to interact. There are 2 exams per semester. Mid term and annual term. Exams are from moderate to high level. All students manage to pass the exmas and the course curriculum is very friendly to the students.
