Course Curriculum Overview

4

I wanted to join the HR field as I think I'm good at managing stuff like resolving conflicts and planning things according to everyone The curriculum is in first year is just overview and stuff it doesn't really prepare you for real world applications yet they can introduce more activities that can help us learn to manage human resources effectively haven't given any exams yet so..

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees was 14,150rs, I got the college through CUET and so no registration amount was taken. The yearly fees included everything like lab fees etc. The fees was same for all the students irrespective of category.

Campus Life

4

we have orientation day, freshers, deepmahotsav( diwali mela) and a lot of other fun stuff The library is vast and one of the best places in the college. They'll provide books of all courses taught and additional literature stuff as well The facilities are poor only the seminar hall and conference hall has projector facilities rest classrooms are low maintenance for sports they provide volleyball, basketball, table tennis, football and cricket but they don't maintain the basketball court at all The most fun thing about this college is the societies, they organize a lot of events and it's always fun. The cultural societies of our college is always on top and other societies like commerce, marketing etc. are helpful for future.

Admission

I applied to SRM University Sonepat for BA (Hons.) Psychology but since it was too expensive considering the hostel fees as well I chose CVS. The admission process is through CUET only. We have to apply for CUET examination and then register for CSAS in DU. The cutoff for Honours courses is quite high for all categories but for vocational courses it's comparatively lower.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is good and they're approachable as well, they'll clear your doubts regarding stuff teaching faculty is good I genuinely felt they care about the students the one i disliked is security maybe? they're rude sometimes

Other Applied Colleges

SRM University Delhi NCR | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Psychology)

fees was less for CVS

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

I choose the curriculum on the basis of its heay emphasis on the software development part. It is not really reflects itself in the real-world application, I had to pursue other option to grow my skills. It needs to make it better in the project and application department. They need to work on some real life projects.
