HNLU NOT GREAT NOT BAD.

The curriculum prepared is not bad, alowly they have added new subject like "social phsycology" and other soecific courses but the syllabus for the conventional law subjects have not changed yet which included the same old stuff, but overall the course is designed in such a way that it would help you gain basic knowledge of the course and subject. The subject kn first year includes subject of BA as well as law but it goes on only till 2nd year after which you study only the core law subjects like ADR, public international law, BNSS,BSA, constitution etc

There exist ICC in the college which takes up the task of internships and the students apply for internships individually as well based on their CV. Paid internships are little harder to get and the stipend is minimum like 5-10k

One is eligible for placements at or after 4th year . The placement is handled bh the RCC comittee of the college whoch make sure the college is visited bh good companies like panagan babu. Trilegal. Khaitan. As well as other litigation firms. The highest package includes 23lakh and counting. The percentage of students placed is arohnd 45-55% of the people who applied for placements. Lot of people do not sit for placement because they pursue litigation after this which is also a lucrative job, i personally plan to work as a litigation lawyer. And the internships you do theoughout the college helps you build CV for that

Total fee for the course -10 lakh Mess fees 20k , per sem, included Hostel fee -25 k per sem , included Security money -25000 Scholarship is awarded to people having more than 5 gpa and 80% attendance, who are not financially well

The campus life is an exciting one , each each there is one annual college fest naled "colossus" which is sports as well as cultural event, in the morning all the sports competition as well as the IMUN goes on and after that in the night cultural events happen whoch gives students chance to dance their hearts out. Not only in this aspect but academically the college pays attention to the needs of students, the library is filled with amazing books ranging from law to non law books, the college also provides us access to manupatra and scc for free as well as their remot access which helps student get their work done even after college. The campus is filled with sports enthusiasts who make sure that cricket pith as well as football ground and all the other places are well maintained and ready to play The other clubs include book club, drama club etc

It is mandatory for the students to stay in hostel, each student is given single room from 2nd year and in first year 2 students share a big room. The sizes of the room are okay. Not big not small. The food on the other hand is better than most college but still room for impo is always there. There exist no special registration process for the hostel and the fees is included so its a very hassle free process

I applied to almost all the law colleges in india and except some of the NLU's, i got selected for all of them, the reason why i chose HNLU is because it was the best NLU i could get in mh rank and also it was closer to my home. i did not face rejection from any other college which made my choice easier. To get admission in HNLU yoh have to give CLAT and score good marks in that, once you score minimum marks required for HNLU you have to sit in the councling where you give your list of preference to them.

There is around 100 faculty for 1100 students over all There exist few faculty which is great and helpful but there also exist faculty who are at top admin positions still dont care about students at all Each semester you give 2 exams, mid sems and end sems. Midsem is of 25 marks while the end sem is of 60 marks
