I applied to almost all the law colleges in india and except some of the NLU's, i got selected for all of them, the reason why i chose HNLU is because it was the best NLU i could get in mh rank and also it was closer to my home. i did not face rejection from any other college which made my choice easier. I gave Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in 2020 but could not crack it. I reappeared in 2021 and got selected for HNLU in vacant seats. The university gives admission on the basis of CLAT examination which is conducted every year by Consortium of NLUs. There is around 50% reservation for domicile of chattisgarh and rest are all India seats. The admission is given on the basis of rank. Overall, the college is really good and it is upon you how you want to make the best out of the innumerable opportunities available. I believe the faculty can get better and more professionals can be recruited to teach. The mess facility was bad but with the new Vice Chancellor in our college, things are starting to get better. We also have juice shops, laundry services, AMUL, fast food centres and salons in our college itself. The library is huge and has access to all kinds of material we might need. Otherwise, the library is always open to suggestions on what the students need....Read More
