Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Awam Jansanchar University was established by the KushabhauThakre Journalism and Mass Communication University Act. It is the first ‘Media Gurukul’ of India. My masters from Kushabhau Vishwavidyalaya

Course Curriculum Overview:

Every semester we had to study 7 subjects in total. For the first two sem. the subjects were predefined, while from second semester the curriculum bifurcated into core subjects and elective subjects. We studied a wide variety of topics like accounting, branding, managerial economics, organisational behaviour. The curriculum was a bit exhausting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure was pretty good and I was satisfied with it. We were given a lot of assignments that were to be submitted on time. A mandatory internship was also part of our curriculum and in the final year, we were supposed to submit a dissertation. While most of the teaching was from the perspective of the media industry, like media laws, advertising, strategic management, etc.

The placement is around 70% at the Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar Vishwavidyalaya. The college has a dedicated placement cell.
