Review of IIIT Una

The curriculum in first year is physics chemistry maths only but we have electronics lab and universal human values also comunication skills which are some of the most valuable courses which prepare us for real world . Area of improvement can be done in reducing the pressure from the students of assignments and labs , also attendance . The exams and of moderate level , anyone who prepared for jee well can do them and score good marks.

The tag of IIIT Una helps us to get internship in IITs and NITs , talking about companies there are several companies which offer internships but we have to reach out to them on our own but they offer good stipend.

Students get eligible for placements from 7 th semester onwards . Companies and offers can be seen on IIIT Una's website. Highest package was 60 LPA by linkedin 90-95 percent students get placed . My plan is to start a you tube channel after my degree.

Fee Structure (Approximate) 1. Tuition Fee: - Around INR 1,90,000 per year (may vary). 2. Other Fees: - Hostel Fees: INR 20,000 - 30,000 per year. - Mess Charges: INR 20,000 - 30,000 per year. - Library and Lab Fees: INR 5,000 - 10,000 per year. - Other Miscellaneous Fees: INR 5,000 - 10,000 per year. Annual Technical fest is called Techtatva and it is held in November most probably. Library has many books and journals with a large number of variety. Class room is fully air conditioned, with projectors. Sports is very good in IIIT Una with almost all the facilities . There are many clubs ran by students so its a win to join IIIT Una

Hostels are well equipped with wifi , rooms are 3 students sharing and each room has 3 beds , tables , chairs , cupboards and a balcony. Meals in mess is of decent quality with sweet dish every night in dinner and there are 4 meals ie breakfast , lunch , snacks and dinner. Registration happens along with admission.

I applied in IIIT Kottayam and IIIT Bhagalpur but i chose IIIT Una because its near to my home as compared to IIIT Kerela and Facilities and infrastructure is good as compared to IIIT Bhagalpur. No i did not get any rejection as my jee score was good enough. Admission process is we have to sit in jossa counseling and if you rank is below 45000 you can secure a seat in IIIT Una and simply follow the jossa and csab rules and regulations to get admission here .

The faculty to students ratio is like for 300 students their are 70-80 facilities for approximately 900 students . I can't share the names but all faculties are good except physics professor and electrical hod because of their strict behaviour. There are 2 exams mid semester and end semester with labs.
