My journey of life in College

Personally I like the subject chemistry very much from 12th standard so decided to take hond in chemistry previously after hs before choosing the college. I applied in the top colleges of kolkata such as bethune college, jaipuriya college with vidyasagar college. But when i got chance in vidyasagar college i ho for it without any hesitation because of the historical background of this college. The aubject chemistry has many academic placements for future who want to do research works post docs.. chemistry is full of practical aspects and new research works can be done on this subject. The course time is short dur to semester system but if the study have been done such a proper routine then the exam can be easier.

Vidyasagar college is a well-knowned college of kolkata fir persuing bsc degree. The faculties for bsc chemistry are very much well and professors are very helpful. The tuition fees per year for studying chemistry is around 10000. This is three years course for cbcs system and 4 years course for NEP system. In admission process there is a quota for reserved candidates. The college give scholarships which either govt. Or private for the ews and reserved candidate every year.

The three years bachelors course in chemistry at vidyasagar college is throughout very good for a student as mine. An amazing play ground, garden, corridors, library, staff room, common room, rest rooms are present in the college. A free gym is aldo provided for students and a computer course is also offered. Beside this annual programme of vidyasagar college is very popular as every year foreign professors and many delicates are invited as chief guest for this programme. Again freshers welcome and farewell programmes are also arranger to cheer up the students of every department every year. The library is also very calm and silence is maintained. There is many foreign research journals are kept and meny books are stored for different subjects. Annual sports day is also celebrated in this college with many sports as race, cricket football.

I applied to bethune college, vidyasagar college, jaipuriya college, rammohan college, city college, lady brabourne college, for the chemistry hons in ug. I got chance to city college, rammohan college, jaipuriya college and vidyasagar college fir bsc chemistry. Among all those I choose vidyasagar college due to the overview of good faculty in chemistry and their is also a sporta quota for admission. University of calcutta always give ug admission in the aspects of merit, no. Entrace test is required so I got chance with merit and sport quota also.

Faculties are very good for tye science subjects in the college. The faculties are phd holder and they taught very well. Names of those faculty members of chemistry are Dr. Sharmila Bhattacharya (physical chemistry), Dr. Arunabha Mishra (Inorganic chemistry), Dr. Ranjit Shit (Organic chemistry), Dr. Nirmalendu Mukhoti ( organic chemistry), Dr. Debarati Dey (Physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry). The student teacher coordinations are extremely good. I personally like specially dr. Sharmila maam and debarati maam for there friendly nature. But its very true that i dislike noone of oir faculty because they all are very well behaved. The exams are persued as university of calcutta in as all sex semesters for cbcs and 8 semesters for nep. All syllabus are instructed by cu and college take responsibility to cover all possible chapters.
