What Students Say

Likes

Good academic and library facilities and infrastructure.
Good peer group that motivates you to do things.
Decent hostel life and friends here with no restrictions on timing.

Dislikes

Very vast coverage of syllabus in courses.
Bad grading at the end of the exams. Proff gives C grade on avg.
Some people are like robots,they only study whole day.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some courses are very relevant courses like basic programming courses that are taught to everyone in the first year itself but some courses are not so good and relevant.Some courses content are directly asked in the placement interviews.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees depends diffferntly on different categories like a general or OBC guy would pay 250000 a year including hostel mess fees. If they have a income between 1 to 5 lpa then the tuition fees will become 66% of 1 lac a semester and sc/st doesnt have to pay tuition fees and have to pay all other fees.

Campus Life

Overall campus life is very great i would say.The clubs are very active here and involve lot of students in them.Sports life is very good and have a lot of competitions happening all over the semester.

Admission

This IIT was very close to my home so that's why i chose it.My college have excellent enterpreunership opportunities and that was my one of the biggest reasons to chose it.You can enter this college by giving JEE Advanced,Gate and JAM.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is decent(not very good) but the faculties are approachable by the mail or you can go directly in thier offices. Exams are not very easy here and the grading also not very great.But some proffs are good and do good grading post examination.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

Placement Experience:

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. Highest package - 80LPA (Atlassian) Average Package - 20LPA Some top companies which visit on campus - Google, Microsoft, Apple, Atlassian, Sprinklr, NVIDIA, Tower Research, Estee Advisors, PhonePe, Intuit, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Samsung, Texas Instruments, etc.

Insights of my college

Placement Experience:

Student got internship opportunities after 3rd year. Many companies like microsoft, IEEE , Agro Robotics. Average package is about 4-5 lakhs when this college was polytechnic now upgraded to degree college so this year got a idea about highest package. The percentage of placement is I think 80 percent. I am planning after getting degree i want to get placed in a good MNC company and want to serve for the betterment of society in field of technology and Artificial intelligence

The Hidden Truth of NSUT

Placement Experience:

Talking about NSUT, it is one of the best in terms of placement. Almost every company you may think of that costs IIT Delhi also visits NSUT. NSUT has a great placement stats in tech, non tech and in core as well. In tech , you may think of Amazon , Flipkart , google , Microsoft and all the big companies do visit the campus The eligibility for on campus placements purely depends upon the CGPA. So it is really important to maintain a good GPA throughout the course. Students become eligible for placements after the 6th sem only. To check the stats of the company visited and the offers made to each branch , you may visit the TNP website of our college NSUT. 80-90% students were placed from our college in the last placement session. For consultancy and non tech, companies like Deshaw, Bain, TCS,McKinsey etc do visit the campus. The highest package almost goes above a Crore per annum in most of the years , while the avg is around 10LPA, while the median is around 7-8LPA.

from end 6th semester companies start coming to our college and placing students around 200-250 companies visit our college every year for placements varying from different roles and and different branches last year 82lpa was the highest package in my college around 70% students get placed every year ill get a job and start working

Placement Experience:

GENUINE VERDICT OF COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

After 6 semesters you are eligible for campus placements and after 4 or 5 semester you are eligible for internship opportunities there shall be companies that visit it or campus Google Microsoft Samsung and many more Adobe also I don't know the proper way sorry the highest package is of 1.82 crores. The percentage of students getting placement is about 80 to 82% after getting the degree I would first do a job for 4 to 5 year and and earn some money and then with my friends I got plan for a startup

Internships and Oppurtunities

The eligibility for the course is JEE Advanced and cutoff for JEE Advanced is JEE Mains exam. Also, you must have 75% or above in class 12 board examinations. The cutoff for my branch was around 1900 rank. The application form can be found on jeeadv.ac.in and the form costed around 2900 rupees. Honest life at IITD

To be eligible for the B Tech programme in IITD you've to qualify for JEE Adv. The cutoff varies from year to year. Seats are allotted on the basis of the ranks secured by the students in jee adv exam. Once the results are out you've to go through the josaa counselling for which you have to pay. Eligibility of the Course 1. JEE Main Qualified 2. JEE Adv Qualified 3. Board 75% marks We can find the application forms, application fees, and application dates on NTA Website and JEE Advance website.
