Course Curriculum Overview
My interest in engines made me chose mechanical,the curriculum is well suited according to the latest technologies and industry standards, although we can only confirm this after graduation. Infrastructure ofbthe building can be improved and teaching methods can be modernised.
Internships Opportunities
As I have heard from my seniors internship opportunities are plenty and you can easily get an internship with a bit of effort. Your EL project will be of great help and club work will be really helpful in grabbing an internship as well
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. A multitude of companies like Deloitte, texas instruments, Microsoft and Cisco are present for placements. Average of mechanical is 8.52 LPA and highest package beint 62 LPA. Percentage of students placed is 85%
Fees and Financial Aid
Per year tuition fees is 2.81LPA with it slightly decreasing every year. Additional 30K for lab equipment and security deposit. No reservation here but there is management quota and for mechanical it is 20LPA. No idea about scholarship since I am in first year.
Campus Life
Campus life becomes better as you go through the semesters due to engagement in clubs and various activities happening throughout the college. The clubs are by far the best part of campus life as there a wide variety of clubs and all of them are good. We don't have many fests performed throughout the year we only have 8 mile. The sports team is good especially football and cricket.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility are decent but they can be more hygienic and it is difficult to get in first year. PG is a better option as food is better and restrictions are less strict so that would be preferred over college hostel.
Admission
I chose this college because it is considered one of the top colleges in bangalorwle, it's reputation honestly preceeds itself. You can get admission via comedk if you are outside karnataka and kcet if you are inside karnataka and also from me. Exam is of moderate difficulty and you can clear it if you have studied your 11th and 12th properly.
Faculty
Mechanical faculty is good they are very knowledgeable and convey the information in an easy to understand manner. The faculty to student ratio is good ensuring everyone's doubts are cleared. The exams are easy if you pay attention in class and don't slack off too much. Exams are subjective from student to student.
