Course Curriculum Overview
The course of Information Technology consists of 6 subjects and all of them are really easy and fun to learn. We have programming languages in our cirriculum like R, Python, HTML, XML, CSS, etc. We also have Mthematics and Physics for real world applications.
Placement Experience
The placement of IGDTUW are really good and are above average. Placement was one of the reasons for me to choose this particular college for myself. By the 5th semester, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies like Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart, Hero, Honda, Microsoft, Snapdeal, Samsumg, Intel, etc. have visited our college for placement drives. Highest placement includes 80-82 LPA at Microsoft, Google.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for IGDTUW is: 144500/- for the 1st year, 145000/- for the 2nd year, 155000/- for the 3rd year, 175000/- for the 4th year. Fees for hostel is around 5-7 Lakh. The food provided by the hostel mess is tasty and hygienic. IGDTUW also provides various scholarships such as Pragati Scholarship. There is fees waiver provided by IGDTUW for students belonging to SC/ST reservations.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant and the club involvement is top notch. I, myself am a part of various clubs such as Enactus, GDG, IEEE, musi club. We conduct Taarangana, our yearly fest in January. there is also Innerve and Jhilmil in October. Library has all the books of need and more. All the classrooms have smart boards for better understanding of concepts.
Admission
I chose this college because of the affordable fees, the above average placement and the safe environment of having women around. This college was also offering me the branch of my choice which is Information Technology. I also like the attitude of staff and faculty members towards the students.
Faculty
All the faculty members are really supportive whenever students asks doubts regarding studies or college matters. Faculty also completes the syllabus before the exams so that students can do well. There are mid sems and end sems in our college.
