Course Curriculum Overview

The course is amazing and the faculty is also the best jn the country and i think that the things that they teach are Allinged with the present worlds demands which is very important the exams are medium to difficult and we need to study hard for them

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like google, apple ,Nvidia, Microsoft, bajaj elec, BHEL, lenevo come to our college for placements and internships and we also have several consultancy firms coming for jobs in our college every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly tution fees is 0 ( for ST category) and about 2 lakh for general category. the hostel fees including mess is 35000 its for all the categories. The hostel fees includes all electricity and water bills. There are many scholarships for students whose family income is less than 5 lakh or between 5-9 lakh

Campus Life

We have rendezvous, the cultural fest during start of October which is a four day long fest with best artists coming every day and tryst, the technical fest,after spring and many more fests like kaizen of NSS.

Hostel Facilities

The accomadatiom is amazing as it provides mess and common room with ac and washing machines on every floor. The only con is that we have small rooms wifh 3 people each. The food is mostly good and i like it a lot

Admission

I also applied to iit roorkee electrical branch and iit bombay mech but iit delhi was closer to home plus its the best in the country so i decided to prioritize college over branch which doesn't matter after you come to college

Faculty

The faulty to student ratio in classes is really bad like about 150 students per teacher in the first year but it improves a lot in 2,3,4 th years and in tutorial classes the student to teacher ratio is like 30 students per teacher. There are 2 quizzes of each course during the sem and a minor in the middle and majors at the end of the sem

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

The placements are between average and good. There are total 300 companies that come for placements. The core companies usually come at around 8 LPA to 15 LPA, and th tech companies come at 15 LPA to 45LPA. The non tech companies come at 10 LPA to 25 LPA. Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. The placements season lasts for 144 days. The students become eligible for internship form the end of 4th semester. My plans after getting the degree are two way. The short term plan is to do a job in core and in the long run, build my business.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester, students are eligible to sit in the placement drive. There are plenty of good companies that every student dreams of visiting our college. Almost the same companies visit NSUT, which goes to DTU or IIIT or IITs(Packages could be lower than IITs). Students can apply for any sort of company whether its a tech domain or nontech or core domain. The no. of core companies is quite less than dtu and IITs but the no. of tech companies is higher than dtu. The placement percentage has significantly reduced to 42% in past years. The average package is around 10 lpa.

A Glimpse of DTU

Placement Experience:

Like ig from 5th sem(3rd year) students can apply for internships. Famous companies that visit campus are- Apple,Google, Microsoft,IBM,Amazon etc Highest offers made were 1.2 CR (international package)... much data is not shared publicly so how many students were given that package is not known. Average package of software engineering is near about 20LPA rest it always stay above 18LPA. In tech branches almost 80%-90% students get placed Mp will get a job in other country after this degree

Some of the top recruiters were Microsoft, HCL technologies, Accenture, Jaguar Land Rover India Limited, McKinsey & Company, Rakuten Mobile, etc. Around 1300 offers were made and 260 PPOs and 30 international offers in 2023 batch. The highest package in 2023 was 2.5 Cr per annum. The average package was around 20 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements was around 89% in 2023. My plans are either getting a placement or continue further studies in mechanical department.

DTU is one of best college for engineering in Delhi.

Placement Experience:

Placement is great in DTU almost 70% students gets selected in good companies.Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester (i.e. 4th year). 2024 placement session is currently going on but in 2023 the placement for technical branches was more than 80%. Our past recruiter includes companies like google, Microsoft, SanDisk, Flipkart, Amazon and many more big companies. The last year maximum package was 82 lpa and average package for tech companies was around 20lpa

for EWS I applied for IISC banglore (BSc. Physics) and IIST Thiruvananthapuram (Aerospace Engineering 4years). I choose this college because of the reputation and placements over others. Also, others were very far form my hometown compare to IIT Delhi. I did not get rejection as I got ddmission letter form both the colleges. The admission process starts form filling choices on JOSAA platform after clearing JEE Advanced exam and according to rank and preferences we get colleges. After coming to this college, first I enrolled in the hostel alloted to me. After two days the college registration process starts, there after checking all valid documents I was enrolled in the batch 2024 and got college ID. The eligibility was clearing JEE Advanced with appropriate cutoff marks. The most preffered exam to take admission in is JEE Advanced. The cutoff was 54 for SC/ST and 98 for EWS and 108 for General category. The overall admission process was smooth....Read More

My IIT D experience

first i have to get register in my assign hostel after two days i have to register me in the college . where i get admit card , id card , and a health card to assure my health in the IIT Hospital. For the admission we have to clear JEE-ADVANCED exam conducted by IIT's. the cutoff's for the exam for st student and sc is 54 and for general 109 and for obc 98 and for general -ews 94 . my college experience

i didn't aplly for any other college. Firsty i came to hostel which was alooted to me on email. then after registeration i get my room key which is was sharing with 2 other people .then after this on second day we do some formalities and submited the college fees and after that attended the orientation in which they told us about the college curriculum. the eligibility criteria for IIT delhi is to clear JEE ADVANCE paper with appropriate number according to cut-off. the cut-off for clearing exam is GEN-108 OBC-98 EWS-98 SC-54 ST 54....Read More
