Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculam was well structured whether it be in preparation of competitive exams or for self learning. Teaching methods was also fine. Immense amount of practical courses per semester made it more interesting.
Internships Opportunities
Every year college oraganises a 2 month DSKC internship which was the best. Students from different college and places would join the research works done. It was really the best part about vacations .
Fees and Financial Aid
Average fee for a year was ranging between 17-19k. Students availed central scholarships. Hostel fee was affordable and fine comparing to other colleges in DU. Fees structure did not have an increasing trend, it mainly depended on the online or offline labs availed.
Campus Life
Infrastructure was 10/10. It has an aesthetic beauty. As a hosteller, I lived my whole bachelors life in Miranda, It felt so blessed. Library was well equipped.Each and every clubs and their fests were awesome there. February to March was fest seasons which would bring immense happines in all of us.
Hostel Facilities
It was double sharing. Spacious room. Bathroom was not that much good. Menu was completely north style. Admission process was fine and easy. Students were not allowed to stay in hostel after the exam dates or during mid semester breaks.
Admission
My first option was Miranda House only, and I got in there in the very first allotment itself. Why chose it be first on my allotment list was its ranking. Miranda ranked among the first position in science for the past few years prior to my admission. And the alumni cell and their acheivements attracted me even more. And I would always be proud of choosing that college
Faculty
Course structure was best. It included all essential parts. Exam system was also fine. Marking scheme felt accurate, Scoring good was hard but not difficult. Faculties are very supportive. Practical classes was very interesting.
