Campus - Greenery campus, Eco friendly products
Diversity - Student can explore versatile friendship and culture
Students group - University has so many groups and teams, either in political or in culture. Student can blend together those two to become knowledgeable

Dislikes

Biased - General category people doesn't have opportunities like SC ST & EWS category
Over diversity - Mostly North Indians occupy the seats, from south it will be from Kerala & Andhrapradesh.
Food - The quality of food in mess is very cheap than the road stands.

Course Curriculum Overview

Diversity & Culture fosters to grasp knowledge quickly Some professors teach like IIM & IIT So it's the best for learning from them Well, we can't expect mark from them but knowledge ???? Areas to improvement - Can include Corporate skill courses and more technical courses The frequency and timings of exams are flexible as they keep for 3 hrs for 60 marks is better than writing for 100 marks in 2.5 hrs

Fees and Financial Aid

For odd sem it's 62000, for even sem it's 8,000 It includes all fees in it For sc st students and students who's parents has less income they have scholarship for all their academic expenses For science cources students have their own scholarship worth 5000 per month For arts cources students, only the eligible candidates have such opportunities The students who are securing merit marks also get scholarship from Central Government

Campus Life

So many festivals there From newyear to Christmas they have so many festivals Pondicherry University is the 1st biggest library in Asia Sports has full time courses also students are mostly national award winners Many students have their own community sports group and many influencers are studying and running business under the campus

Admission

I chosen this college to use my opportunity to live without limits, There's so much of freedom inside the campus No matter who you're where you're from You can roam sleep study at anytime at anywhere That freedom hits the application beyond I applied to private colleges as well but they don't have much freedom as central university provides I got call from 16 private colleges & 2 central university but I joined here to explore the more diverse range of groups Appear for CUET exam get passed and apply for the course and take admission General category - 250+ OBC - 100+ OBC - CL - 150+ SC ST EWS - 20+

Faculty

Very approachable - Like a friend the relationship goes Best faculties - All the professors are best but assistant professors from north are over reactors and not suitable for Pondicherry climate Autocratic professors - Mallu & North professors are very nastic Internal and external exams only Internal for 40 mark External for 60 marks Resukt after 14 days of exam

Good for study and better than many collages and jNiversity in term of timepass

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement for student as almost 80 to 90 student from 160 students get placement in differently sector fir master of business administration and average placement package is around 6 lakhs .

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of 2nd year (i.e., 3rd semester) students are eligible for getting into placements. Companies such as Federal bank, Thomas Cook, Askan technology are some of the college which has visits till yet and more of them are coming from January. Highest package is 13LPA and it's from banking sector and the average packages are 4-5 LPA. 70% of the students are getting into campus placements.

The good and the bad about Pondicherry University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for placements in the 4th semester during December when the placement drive starts. Most of the major travel agencies like Thomas cook, make my trip, etc come for the drive. The university boasts about 70% of the students are placed. The package ranges from 3,00,000 to 6,00,000 p.a. the average package is around 3.5 lakhs. My plans are to get placed in a reputed company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was domain to study these subjects. Here professors are not that qualified for this course which is why we are not prepared much. More qualified professors are required for some specific subjects like machine learning, design algorithm,.python etc.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

Before the end of third semester the placement cell becomes active and companies start visiting the campus Companies mostly Banking and Sales come for recruitment Last year highest placement was of 13-15L PA After COVID placement has dropped to 40-50% One can go for UGC nET exam before finishing their degree for job and career security.

I applied to Jamia Millia Islamia for biotechnology which I didn't got due to my low score in entrance exam and I also tried to get into lovely professional University which I cancelled due to the high fees. Then my next option was Pondicherry University, the prime reason I came here is because of the course. Clearing CUET examination is required for the admission. Actually, the admission process was really smooth and fast at Pondicherry University, compared to other central universities, such as DU, JNU, BHU and HCU. So I also applied for criminology and police administration in Sardar Patel university but I fell ill during the time of admission.
