Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching of foundational stuff is important and it is done widely here alongside with modern world updated online courses... Like Coursera, linkedIn and many more... Training for placement, govt competitive exams, and GATE is also done.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities from companies like Nvidia, TCS, were offered and other too... Roles were given based upon the experience and background... The stipend and duration was like Rs.5,000 for 3months or like Rs.60,000 for 12 months... Work from home

Placement Experience

Highest package offered was Rs.72lpa.... there are like 20 to 25 companies that come for placement every year.. namely TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, Wipro.. avg pack is around 6lpa for freshers... Roughly around 50-55% students get placed ...some don't take up placement... Some prepare for masters.. some fly overseas... From 6th sem placement begins

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facility is there said that you shouldn't have any backlog for every semester it's available.... Tuition fees for my batch is Rs.75,000 every semester.. but it has now increased to around Rs.1,10,000 per semester somewhere like that not sure about it.... In the tuition fees everything is included (access to coursera, LinkedIn courses and more) except transport, food, hostel charges and uniform.... Overall teaching standard is maintained high.. great professors... Really helping... Study pressure is always there...so yea kinda hard to keep up with it at times.

Campus Life

We have football clubs, fashion team, model United Nations, ecstasia fest, photografix (photo competition), URECKON (tech fest), this series of events take place throughout the year.. which helps students socialise and network and enjoy life at college. There are many tech chapters run by students one is GeekForGeeks student chapter... Wide range of books access to research papers and all is available in the library.

Admission

This college is nearest to my house ... So it really cuts off on the travel time and cost as it's a regular college so yeah needed to consider that.... Alongside that it has a great placement record too ... So it was a no brainer to make this decision.... other considerations was Heritage institute of technology but they asked for a lot of quota fund... Same for IEM saltlake... I got in by IEMJEE here... Eligibilty is 70% in 12th ...

Faculty

Exams are really difficult to score ... Papers are set by IIT IIM alumnis .... we have semester exams of 100 marks... Faculties are very approachable and helping... Some of my favourite faculty members are Karumayee mam , MNC sir, AYC sir, Abir sir... Student to faculty ratio stands around 35:1 on an average day

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
