Good Infrastructure But No Campusing

All is good but we would have been happier if we would have been offered jobs placed atleast 90% which is promised by college but not fulfilled. Charging us money and not giving placement is wrong.not at all justified

Appeared for jee-west bengal and scored 28367 rank. I took up choose b.tech as my family is into construction bussiness and we had no engineer in our family i wanted to be that one engineer. Admission is based on your ranking there is no interview session done by the college administration admission is based on jee ranking.

The course curriculum is interesting, all electives are made available nothing is compulsory or set by the college by default.

I am a civil engineering student. So, we were offered internships of larsen and toubro company we were not offered any stipend. The experience here at larsen and toubro was great we learnt a lot of thingswe were taken for a multistorey building construction,we learnt things right from the beggining like piling,putting on pile caps coloumn setup etc.

Technical festivals are held by our college every now and then but i hardly attended any so no idea. Our college organised a grand fest namely 2k15 this year where fossils band bengal rock band was brought to perform almost over 1000 students came. It was party everwhere even ex students came before the performance of the band our college students performed to songs there was mass dancing everbody danced to the music played by the dj(local dj-a bbit student).

The fees is very expensive which is a whooping rs 3,73,200 for the entire course thats 8 semesters rs 58,300 needs to be paid upfront during admission and the remaining in 7 installments.

loan and scholarship not offered by college. Our college only give scholarship to SC/ST AND OBC. I am SC candidate i have applied for sc schoarship andmy freiend is muslim obc minority he has applied for minority schoarship got money as well.

The number of boys out numbers the number of girls the boy girl ratio is 4:1. No hostel parties the wardn is ver strict my friedns tell me but in our mess there is a party every weekend. The workshops are very good and people here are friendly tolerance with tegards to gender ethinticity religion sexual orientation,politics and economic status is zero nobody cares actually people are not criticized at all never heard of any.

I live in hostel, which is clean and tidy and very close to the college 300m away approxiamately and in our mess we have got a tv, wifi router and a geyser. expenses : - food- rs1350 per month, rent-rs900 per month, maid/cook-rs200 per month, wifi/interne

The college seniors hardly misbehave they are friendly but some are very irritating so i avoid keeping in touch with them and rest are good. The alumni network is not maintained once you are out nobody cares to call you back actually no official reunion from college unofficial is there our seniors come to our mess to chill and hangout they tell us their corporate world experiences etc.

We have practical labs every day that stretches for three long periods each period has a duration of 45minutes and we have two internal examinations before each semester each carrying 10marks and have a total of eight semesters.

The faculty i must say is excellent all the professors are very good highly educated mostly ex-iit ex-jadavpur professors they are friendly aswell and give you extra time after college if one needs or asks for help.
