The admission is Cochin University of science and technology is completely through CAT entrance exam .Board marks are not required.The cutoff rank is about 3000 for btech ECE,CS,IT.The cutoff rank of civil and mech goes upto 10000

Exams are too frequent . Don't have much time to study.Too hard for average students.I feel the course is only for top students.Exams are too difficult and they won't give you marks.They mostly try to fail you.

Internship is easily provided by the faculty to the students with talent . And for our branch that is electronics and communication most of the students opt for software side internship in companies like Wipro , cognizant etc

As most people know Cochin University of science and technology is one of the best colleges in India and is compared globally . Therefore the certificate value is high and the placements are also good. Naac A+ grade.Nba accreditation.etc

There is no fee for students who have reservations like oec and scst . And for students with financial issues are also provided with scholarship.There is three types of fee. For NRI - 65K PER SEM. For All India merit-50k per sem.For state merit 25k per semester

Hostel is pretty decent and cheap only 400 per month.The food is also average costing around 2500 per month.And there is complete freedom.For international students there is seperate hostel with more facilities.

Most of the faculty in the electronics and communication branch is biased and only provides help for a selected number of people.Students who gets less marks are just completely abandoned. Only who study well will get faculty recognition and help.
