What Students Say
Likes
- one of the things that i like about janki devi memorial college is that the campus has a variety of flora and fauna stretched across its campus
- it is wheelchair accessible and there are markings on the floor for blind people
- lastly the food served in the canteen is alright and most importantly there's a vocational centre in the campus itself
Dislikes
- the campus is good but very small with not many places to sit
- sometimes the light goes out and we'll have to sit in the heat
- there's an open auditorium it is good but still a covered one wouldve been nice
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is relevant and i believe it'll be helpful in the real world also, i feel like smartboards in every room would be helpful in the teaching process the frequency of exams is alright
Fees and Financial Aid
the year wise fee i paid is 21755 per year and it will not be increasing every year, it'll be the same for the 3 year course. my course is BA Programme [economics plus philosophy]. This includes all the expenses and no extra charges have to be paid other than this
Campus Life
campus life is peaceful the seniors are nice. the library doesn't really have much novels but it does has a number of course books. there are a variety of clubs but the selection process for them is quite hard.
Admission
i applied to other north and south campus colleges but i was alloted jdmc because my score was not that good in cuet but its a fine college and i believe my next 3 years here will be alright even though it off campus
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio is acceptable and the all the teachers I've meet so far are helpful and polite. the administrative department is also helpful. There mid sem and sem examinations if you study on time you'll be fine
