- Teachers are very friendly, they understand your problems.
- No compulsory attendance of 75% criteria.
- No uniform like some of colleges in Kolkata.
Dislikes
- We don't have a lift in the building, and that's create lot of problems if u have injury in leg.
- Campus is not that big, and we don't have any full size football ground.
- Our college doesn't have any hostel facility. They do affiliate with other pg providers.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the technology improves cybersecurity market is getting bigger, also with iot and block chain technology. In my course we get a very comprehensive and rigorous training in those subjects. We have exams in every month of the semester.
Placement Experience
See, as 2022 & 2023 was a exception yrs in tech industry, the placement provided via college was pretty low, but as I can see not things are getting better. We get our internships on 3rd yr 2nd sem onwards. Max of companies give internship and based ppo offer they get the job. Before 2022, 91% is the placement percentage.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's arround a 5 lacks course, each yr we pay arround 1.2 lacks, that means avg 60k per sem. There are different scholarship available by West Bengal govt, but not perticular by our college. We have flexible payment system, our college consider late fees submission also, as per the problem of the candidate
Campus Life
Our college have tech club, cultural club, sports club. Each of them organise their feast. Tech club organise some tech based compilations, they give us opportunity to visit iit Kharagpur campus too. Sports club organises the sport compilations. And the cultural club is best, they organise a function or our main annual feast.
Admission
My rank in wbjee wasn't such good enough to get CSE in max of Kolkata's college. Also i wanted a college pretty close to the Kolkata metro. I didn't want to wear uniform. I wanted a no obligation on attendance. Those all aspects was provided via this college. So I got into this college over than other colleges in Kolkata.
Faculty
As u know fit is makaut affiliated college, so the exams are pretty strict. In exam there is always happen under cctv vigilance. Even though teachers help us if someone got into any bad condition. In case of faculties, max of professors are atleast mtech pass. Also they are pretty supportive. If u continue college with a job, that's also possible.
