Course Curriculum Overview
The statistics in the course is best and easy till now , it prepares students for real life application , the teaching method is based on what is written in book , it can be more interactive, the timing of exam is enough and the exams are not that difficult.
Placement Experience
The placement percentage is good but it depends on the skill of student , many companies visit college for placement but in the end the number of students getting placed is low as compared to colleges of North campus . The highest package is 20 lakh and average package is 5 lakh , 5% to 10% students get placed .
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is good but due to the 5th rank in nirf the college has increased the fees by 5000 which is a lot , the college charges decent fees for sc and st category but for general category the fees is very high and will increase again next year . Financial aid and scholarships is available for students but the process is very complex.
Campus Life
The clubs in the college are good and give exposure to students and give a chance to show skills . The fest held is tide and is held in March it is 3 day fest , it has dances , concert etc . There are many sports like badminton, table tennis, cricket, football etc , extracurricular activities include dancing , singing , debating etc . The facilities are nice the classes have fans but not ac , have white and black board . The library is big , huge and nice the books are available and can be issued for free upto 15 days .
Admission
I applied to many colleges of university of Delhi the colleges were hindu college , ramjas college , svc , Sri Ram College of commerce , hansraj college,kirori mal college , the course were ba hons economics and political science. I got admission in this college because the cut off of general category was low as compared to other colleges . The exam accepted is CUET .the eligibility is 12th pass .
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is 1:50 and the faculty is nice . Some teacher are nice while some are a bit rude , it is their style , helpful faculty are approachable. Till now the best teacher who is friendly is sandeep sir who is maths teacher in sem 1 economics hons . Rest faculty is ok . Number of internal assessment exams depend on teacher the take 3 or more test and marks of 2 test are taken into consideration. A little students fail in final exam , the course curriculum is easy and relevant .
