Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum is mainly based on contemporary relevant issues. Neither than a revised version our syllabus is mainly based on self thinking rather than spoon feeding. Most of the peoples in our syllabus are very related to the real world issue such as gender, environment problems, culture etc. In this curriculum provides are different Framework for us to look over the world. Is curriculum provides a different view and we have to change our perspective to look the world through which we study our papers. The areas of improvement on this curriculum is mostly the curriculum is only speaking from human perspective but we have to take the world as a whole. That is the only point of improvement that I can find out in this curriculum. We have three hours to complete a exams. The difficulty level of the exams is almost 8 in a scale of 10. I think a half an hour should be provide for students because sometimes we will be blank.

Fees and Financial Aid

During the time of admission I had to paid 3500 rupees as PTA fund, 500 rupees for caution deposit and 700 as course fecourse fee. I'm eligible for E- grants scholarship so all other expenses are covered by the scholarship scheme. The student so do not have scholarship have to pay 8000 Rupees per year. All expenses during the period of studying will be covered under the scholarship scheme.

Admission

I had applied for government college for women Thiruvananthapuram. But in the first allotment I got University College and so I pick this college. This college is considered as one of the most practices college and Kerala and has NAAC accredition of A+grade. This college was built by His Highness Ayilyam Thirunal Maharaja during 1860's. Many famous personalities such as Malayalam movie director Padmarajan, Scientist Thanu Padmanabhan, Musician Jassie Gift previous students of this college. That's why I selected this college and and it was my dream to study in this college. Had applied for ma philosophy in Government College Thiruvananthapuram but I got my first allotment in university college. That mission process was very smooth. There were no eligibility exams admission was given according to our marks. And cut off was almost 7.0.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are two good the relationship between faculties and students are very well. Now we can approach of faculty even in getting advises of our personal matters. Most of the faculties are qualified with doctorate. In my department one of the faculty named Priya is my favourite teacher is very friendly with a students very close we can even share our personal matters to her and she cut wise such a very good teacher who provides notes and personal and mental emotional support for students. Another teacher is Tara. The teacher is like a mental she always provides notes and very funny and good with students. Most of our exams are in the difficulty of 8th on the scale of 10 we usually have to refer a lot from outside to write exams and prepare notes. Only a one or two students will fail in exams. And our curriculum is based on contemporary relevant issues that have to be discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion my course MA History is very very traditional. As a student who learn this could only became a Lecture by the syllabus and curriculum. But the improvement in archealogy related pracrical sessions and multi-subject learning by blending it with more geography and politics could make the course more effective and also job securing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got to know more about the rules and regulations, and functionality of my country during the course. the course teaches the structure of Indian democracy, its functions etc. It digs deep into politics of the country making sure that when students graduate they have enough info to face reality with politics for india. we learned about constitutions and structure of many major countries. Exams were conducted not according to the rest of the students for us. we had late exams and hence late results and late graduation. difficulty level of exams if you study well enough you can crack it. its theory based degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good. At some points, it needs revision. The subjects feel ancient. The teaching also need to be improved. The typical lecture method is very unhelpful. Instead they should introduce digital learning. Also the course lacks in-hand experience on the subject. Rather than the robotic manual learning there's no activity involved
