Course Curriculum Overview

4

I got to know more about the rules and regulations, and functionality of my country during the course. the course teaches the structure of Indian democracy, its functions etc. It digs deep into politics of the country making sure that when students graduate they have enough info to face reality with politics for india. we learned about constitutions and structure of many major countries. Exams were conducted not according to the rest of the students for us. we had late exams and hence late results and late graduation. difficulty level of exams if you study well enough you can crack it. its theory based degree

Fees and Financial Aid

i opted for Integrated MA Politics with International relations programme. Fee structure is mainly based on merit. if you opt for management seats you will have to packs even lacks to get a seat there. Even when the programme i opted for had 30 seats, the college could only pull 19 students. For every semester, we had to pay 2450-2500 at the beginning as tuition fees. Egrantz and merit scholarships are available and college guides students if theres anything regarding the scholarship. SC/ST students didnt have to pay any hostel fees as it'll be covered by scholarships.

Campus Life

4

Fine arts program, onam celebration, christmas celebration, freshers day, farewell party etc are some of the main events that'll occur in a year. college has baseball, and basketball teams along with various other sports that take part in various district, state level competitions. we are so proud of our college sports teams since they brought home many major achievements. debate competitions, film screenings, quiz competitions and many other extracurricular activities are conducted.

Hostel Facilities

3

not much fancy rooms we had in college hostel. our hostel is a old fashioned vintage place. we had to share it with 4 other people but some had to share it with 3 - 2 only. theres a common bathroom and toilet. rooms had natural ventilation available because of many windows and also one fan. we had seperate cupboards for everyone. meals were average after admission from the college you come to hostel which is there in the campus only and take admission there by giving admission fees and quotient deposit

Admission

I was very late to apply to colleges and at last i was left with this college because my dad got to know about this college and told me to give it a try. this college is famous amoung the people as it is a reputed college. so when i got to know about this college i went for bsc. psychology but principal said that my marks wasnt sufficient enough for seat in psychology. and then she introduced us to this course she said its integrated program and that sparked interest in me. even when we had no idea what this course was because itwas a newly added course to the college, we still took admission. to get admission in there we had to apply for degree in each universities and tag our most prioritised college during the process. and when the allotments are called you'll either get the college you listed or the ones that the university allot you. once thats done you have to take admission from the alloted college by the respected university the college is under.

Faculty

4

faculties are well structured and organised. each department has 4-5 teachers. they are supportive and friendly. Ms. Nishana CM was an exceptional teacher. She is a teacher who you will listen to them just because we know that they know what they are doing. She collects all these outside syllabus infos from everywhere a there were teachers who would only come to class to off of some printed sheets. they'll read the same thing over and over again and dont contribute anything extra apart from the printed words. those classes will make you want to drop out exams are conducted by the university periodically. out department had difficulties because we were the first batch of this degree under the university. late exams, late results, late graduation etc. but thats not the college's fault. 5 papers per semester total semester=6 course had elective papers for 2 semesters. the curriculum was relevant to the course

Night Life

4

hostel students can roam around campus until 9:30pm since thats when the hostel gate gets closed. theres a gym in campus but it needs serious renowations and they are not happy to give common students the gym access. they give priority to sports quota students. library and cafeteria closes by 5pm. college closes at 5pm. all day scholars will have to leave bt 5pm. locality is safe to roam around at night we have a inhouse guard dogs and watchman that ensures safety. theres many place around the campus since its a huge campus. theres a place wheres theres some tall trees where you can sit around since it gives shade. theres stone bench area in the campus where most of the students hangout during breaks. and ofcourse theres cafeteria

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion my course MA History is very very traditional. As a student who learn this could only became a Lecture by the syllabus and curriculum. But the improvement in archealogy related pracrical sessions and multi-subject learning by blending it with more geography and politics could make the course more effective and also job securing.

As far as I am concerned, I would suggest a curriculum which involves social issues and current affairs in order to mould young student minds. This ensures the active engagement in political and personal affairs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good. At some points, it needs revision. The subjects feel ancient. The teaching also need to be improved. The typical lecture method is very unhelpful. Instead they should introduce digital learning. Also the course lacks in-hand experience on the subject. Rather than the robotic manual learning there's no activity involved

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is great and it helps us to prepare for the real world applications and also for the further academic pursuits.By the materials for the syllabus were most not available so it was so difficult for us to prepare for the exams and also the faculty face it so hard to teach us without proper materials. Also the face difficulty in the question level as we are forced to write the exams without proper materials. Our exams were not properly conducted they have published the exam date all of a sudden eventhough we studied semester wise they conducted exams yearly and 1&2 semester together it had us so hard to prepare for exams. Also our valuation was not properly done so only fews percentage of the students were only passed in the exams. The carelessness of the authorities spoiled life of many students like us.
