A college was very beautiful to see and other activity technical even extra curricular activities are very beautiful and they will improve our lifetime
My teachers are very responsible and friendly. their teaching methods are superb. so i liked the course very much.
Fes concession and scholarships are a big relief for people like me who were from middle class indian family.

Dislikes

The only one thing I am disappointed in the college is the poor infrastructure.
No other dislikes College is totally worth
Not much fund getting for campus renovation erc

University College the heart of Trivandrum

Campus provide library for each department...which is a beneficiary for scholars.
As the campus was at the heart centre of trivandrum most of the expos programmes were also conducted in our college
As the college belongs to the first grade colleges in Kerala, the faculties were very efficient.

Dislikes

Lack of maintenance of the building and proper cleaning. The ameneties are not much helping for the entire students.
Poor administration and lack of planning, which make the campus in the hands of dirty politics.
Lack of water source, drinking water also in a miserable condition., stray dogs in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion my course MA History is very very traditional. As a student who learn this could only became a Lecture by the syllabus and curriculum. But the improvement in archealogy related pracrical sessions and multi-subject learning by blending it with more geography and politics could make the course more effective and also job securing.

Life in the center of University

Likes

Teachers are so friendly and experienced. They are approachable at every time.
Very well- maintained department library and college library.
Opportunity for extra-curricular activities such as NCC and NSS

Dislikes

Lack of separate classroom facilities for first year and second year undergraduate students
Lack of placement and internship facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timing of exams still need to be improved. The time for a semester normally would be 6 months. But the exam would be conducted and publishment of results is a long term process which needs improvement. Overall curriculum also needs improvement

University College through my eyes

Likes

I love the beauty of the campus. It has a vintage vibe.
Teachers are absolutely best. Each of them have unique teaching ideas

Dislikes

As it is situated in city the water for college is from corporation. So Sometimes we don't get water if there is any work
One thing is that Our college has Poor infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved geography since my school days. It is a vast and wide subject with lots of wonders and amazing facts. There is only two to three months between a semester. But it would be better for all students if ith was at least 4 month. We get around 5 months in the first semester.

I like the buildings in the campus as they hold a cultural and vintage style.
The ambience during rain is a beautiful experience for our eyes.
I love to hang out with my friends at college canteen and nss corner

Dislikes

As for my opinion i think our college has poor infrastructure
Our department is quite strict when it comes to ones attendance

I loved the subject geography from my high school life. Studying geography always made me wondered. As for now we have only 2 to 3 months between a semester. But i think it would be better if we got atleast 4 to 5 months.

My college has many professional tutors and professors and they are very experienced so that we get maximum attention.
It is an art-based college and this help us to improve our artistic skills.
There are many courses in my college which are highly job oriented .

Dislikes

It is highly a party based college so that there are many disturbances.
There is no effective mechanism for cleaning the premises which has led to the spreading of diseases like dengue fever.
There is a shortage of infrastructure facilities in my college so that many departments have to share their buildings with the others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a BSc Geography student. I studied humanities in plus two level and from there I like the subject , Geography,which is very different from other arts subjects.By learning geography,I am able to know the physical ,cultural, social and economic factors that help the human beings to interact the earth and it's geographical features. We have 6 exams in whole and we get 3hours to write .It's very hard to manage time as we have to write the exam for 100 marks.

I love the ambience and the cultural heritage of the campus. As our college was established long ago it holds a traditional beauty.
We have a canteen in campus and i like to spend my free time there with my friends.

Dislikes

The one thing i dislike the most is our department is strict in ones monthly attendance
The next thing is that Our college has poor infrastructure

In my high school times i always liked to study geography. And that made me chose this department. Currently we have around two to 3 months between semesters. But i wosh there was atleast 4 months so that we can relax and concentrate more on studies.

Notes were doesn't provide so students refers a wide range study
Above 95 percentage Studying equipments and sample provided

Dislikes

Cleaning is not proper , surrounding were always keeping bad with wastes
Faculty is not much responsible except someone
Classroom are not much available for students

I like to study geography from our childhood so I choose to take a graduation in this subject.Only I feel that the semester system is not much good it will only leads headache.I prefer a masters in central university in geography

Qualified teachers. Almost all teachers have done their phd. Knowledge shared by them is more effective.
Arts festival conducted each year helps students to improve their creative thoughts and ideas
Training to all types of sports are given here

Dislikes

Misbehavior of the staffs of iqac.They dont even care for students who are coming for taking printouts.It is easy to students to take print outs as there is an iqac, other wise we need to walk a long distance to take it. Irresponsible staffs are here
Disregard of the office staffs.They make wait us to get even a single seal even if they are free.They go to their own business during college time and raise up to us.
Amenity centres for girls are too bad. Almost all time there is scarcity of water.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Geography is my favorite subject. So i choose this to my higher education.The curriculum is useful to live in the real world.I think each sem should have 6 months or else we are not able to study.Here one sem ends with 3 months and we have to cover full syllabus within this time period. It is so difficult.

Likes

Most of the teachers phd holders so eache of their teaching style is different
There is seperate library for the department with lots of important book written by famous scholars

Dislikes

75% attendance per month is required to write the exam and the department is strict about it unless it concerns about health issues

I liked this subject. It always teaches new things. We usually get 2 to 3.5 months between a semester. Its little difficult when it is between 4th and fifth sem. Because we get very little time to complete the syllabus.

My view of university College

Likes

Almost all teachers are phd holders. Hence there classes are of top quality .
Our college is naac accredited and ranked 26th in the country and 2nd in the state.
Each department has each libraries with lots of helpful books. There is college arts day every year for students to show their talents

Dislikes

The geography department is a small department hence there isn't much students like other departments

As for me i always loved geography since high school and that's why I chose this course. Each type i study a new topic it amuses me and it makes me think that there is a lot to study and understand about this world. Till now there is only 2 to 3 months between semesters. I wish we had atleast 4 to 5 months . when it is between 2 month it is so difficult for us to focus and we might get stressed.
