University College the heart of Trivandrum

Likes

Campus provide library for each department...which is a beneficiary for scholars.
As the campus was at the heart centre of trivandrum most of the expos programmes were also conducted in our college
As the college belongs to the first grade colleges in Kerala, the faculties were very efficient.

Dislikes

Lack of maintenance of the building and proper cleaning. The ameneties are not much helping for the entire students.
Poor administration and lack of planning, which make the campus in the hands of dirty politics.
Lack of water source, drinking water also in a miserable condition., stray dogs in campus

Internships Opportunities:

As the college administration provide variety of scholarship. But i get an internship like scholarship of the ASPIRE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP as per this i completed a project under the guidance Ass.Prof.Santhosh Kumar Govt.Women's college Thiruvananthapuram, which 2km away from our college. I have spent 1 month internship and got grant of 8000/-.

Everything to Know about University College, Trivandrum

Likes

The college atmosphere can give students amazing exposure to culture and politics.
The teachers are really nice and helpful. You can expect their complete support in most of the cases specially during final year project submission.
The college is located at the heart of the city. So you get to access almost everything from within its reach.

Dislikes

As much as the college politics is enlightning, it can actually get scary sometimes.
The canteen facility inside the college is not that great.
Certain procedures sometimes take lot of time to complete.

Internships Opportunities:

For the subject I learnt, there weren't any internship options. But the advantage is that University colleges reputed institution and the mention of it can get you secure a position in a good company easily.

The university college experience

Likes

The Ambience and the atmosphere. Support for co curricular activities
The exposure you get from there is irreplaceable..we could learn how to become a well human with lot of experiences positivities etc
The college union and leaders are of very good and supportive

Dislikes

Nothing only certain limitation of resources like shortage of classrooms etc
Not much fund getting for campus renovation erc
No other dislikes College is totally worth

Internships Opportunities:

Lot of inter collegiete competition and events are available and teams for different type of competitions are ready within the college and the recruitment happens frequently like debate quiz etc very good

As the course is just a base level graduation, the opportunities provided by the same is very few. This is just a stepping stone to future studies. The graduation also grants the students eligibilty to attend many different entrance exams like CAT and PSC exams.
