Course Curriculum Overview

4

I loved the subject geography from my high school life. Studying geography always made me wondered. As for now we have only 2 to 3 months between a semester. But i think it would be better if we got atleast 4 to 5 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm a third year student and i doesn't have to payany fees except PTA fund as i have e grants. It is a scholarship like program from government for students. As for other students they pay around 2000 per year. I get necessary amount for my fees through e grants to pay for the year fee and exam fee

Campus Life

5

The most important thing i love about our college is our arts festival. College during arts is beautiful. Students can show there cultural talents during this fest. Other than that we also have freshers day, onam celebration, diwali, Christmas celebration, holi and so on. There is also many opportunities for sports interested students too.

Admission

I got admitted in the first allotment itself as it was my first option too. I didn't got rejected from any colleges it was my choice to study in this college. We can apply for the course after our 12th exams through the official website of Kerala university. There isn't an entrance exam for this.

Faculty

4

There are 10 teachers and around 100 students in degree level. The teachers sure are friendly. I like our tutors Dr. Jayalekshmi ma'am and Dr. Shahir sha sir. We have six semesters in three years and 6 exams and a project. Currently I'm in my fifth semester and i think it is the toughest sem as far.

Night Life

4

There is a library for each departments. And there is a gym,and canteen in campus too. As for hostel , there isn't a separate hostel for college but a common one by university. For college hostel admission one has to apply online. And yes i think it is safe at night in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum. The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships. The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes. The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

? I chose chemistry because of the versatility of thge subject. ? There are differet branches of chemistry I can get into. ? We are given a good lab and research opportunities for encountering them in the outside world. ? The exams are well timed, and they are easy to tackle if we are prepared well.

The placement of our collage are better as our collage has less student which gives a relax mindset to the mamangnment that not many people are left to place. In our collage gurls get placed in first year itself as the act of SYNERGY girls recruitment. For boys as well. Many good companies enroll in this collage.
