Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum that the college follows are very relevant ( may depend on subject however). From my experience, political science and history have been really helpfull in my other examinations. Exams are conducted at a standard level which is not very difficult nor very easy.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are internships for BBA students where some of them provide 100% placement. There are also other offers from certain firms like banks and other institutions for all the students who aspire to work in a firm after graduation. There are scholarships for the students for further studies as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

St. Joseph's College (autonomous), Jakhama might be the the most affordable college in Nagaland with top faculties and learning environment. The fee structure is very affordable especially for the students who come from the middle class family. In addition, the authorities can even extend your installment fee deadline for several months if you approach them.

Campus Life

4.5

Events 1. Spring fest - bestween March-April 2. Sports week 3. Dept. Programmes 4. Students' council election and many more. Library Wife range of books available for students. Most assignments and projects can be done from these books that are available in the library. Library are also helpfulful during exams In addition, there are lots of clubs that are open for any students : Philanthropy, prayer, youths, NCC, etc

Admission

I got recommendation from one of my relative to join this college. I am very happy and satisfied with my decision to join this college. The college met my expectation in every field and curriculum. I would also recommend other people to opt for this college if they are looking for a good college in Nagaland

Faculty

4.5

The teaching faculties are very professional in the work. They are very approachable and very friendly. Some faculties show concern about the weak students and tends to focus more on them and some of them have shown a positive result. Student-lecture relationship is very formal inside the class, however once outside the class they can be like a friend

I have pursued science till my 12, but my interest soon shifted to civil services and so I wanted to either take history or political science as my majors and eventually I decided to take history The course has offered me excellent teaching and better understanding of the history of the world,India and my state Nagaland The course could be a little more elaborative in the history of the Asian peninsula Only the important events and countries have been highlighted Their are 2 exams in a semester 1.internal exams This exams is part of our internal marks And we are meant to study 2-3 units for 30 marks which is then converted to 10 marks for our internals The timing is 2 hours 2.
