Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive covering a wide range of topics and subjects which are very much essential for the academic as well as for the real world applications. The course not just provides the theoretical knowledge but also practical skills through internships which helps the students with professional careers and further studies. The frequency and timing of exams are well structured which also allows an ample amount for time for the preparation. Overall, the course curriculum is generally well-structured.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers a variety of internship opportunities for their students. For instance, students have entered their internships in different schools, psychiatric centres, different publications house, media houses as a supporting news anchors and reporters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees are increased with every new batches that joins the college. However, the college also provides enough scholarships and financial assistance for the students who are eligible for the program. Some of the scholarships or financial aid that are available for the students will be 100% scholarships for toppers, scholarships for students with financial hardship, Dr. P.S Lorin scholarship, CRBC Scholarship, and many more.
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life has been enriching. The college has it autumn fest, departmental fest, pow-wow are the major highlights which brings students together and even from other colleges as well. Classrooms are well equipped with modern technological facilities which enhance the learning experiences. Additionally, there are many student-run groups and clubs like drama clubs, music club, oratory club, NSS, dance clubs and more which help the students in their overall lives.
Admission
There was no eligibility test for joining the courses earlier however with increasing numbers of applicants with good performance the college now conducts a test for students with percentages bellow 50. The application forms or payment of fees can either be made online or offline.
Faculty
The faculties of the college are well educated and well qualified which helps the students with better understanding and teaching skills. They are approachable and very outgoing with the students which helps the students to interact with them and clear out every doubts.
