The mode of admission at St. Joseph’s College Kohima is offline and admission is based on merit & availability of seats.
Admission is divided into 3 stages:
- Collection, submission & verification of application form
- Physically meeting with the management team
- Final selected candidates to make the payment
How to Apply?
- The application form is available in the admission office from Monday- Friday, at a fee of ₹200. The college prospectus is included in the admission form.
- After the collection of forms, they need to be submitted by deadline with all required documents to the admission department.
- Original documents need to be submitted during the time of final admission in the admission office.

- Four xerox copies of mark sheet (for Bachelors, class 12th mark sheet & for Masters, graduation mark sheet)
- Four xeroxes of admit cards
- Six photos (4 passport photos & 2 stamp photos)
- Original N.B.S.E, NU, or equivalent recognized University/Institution registration card.
- Original mark sheet shall be produced during the final interview time
- Applicants who are residents of other States other than Nagaland shall produce a migration certificate.

- I like how the teachers are so well educated and confident about what they teach. They can be friendly and strict depending on the situation.
- Various extracurricular activities which is fun and can play a big role in letting ourself go out among thousands of students
Dislikes
- They could be less strict when it comes to hair colour and piercings. This is not high school anymore
- I hate the sound system. They need to get a new one

I did not apply in any other colleges. I wanted to join this college when i was in my 9th grade and by the time i passed out my 12th grade, i decided to join this college . Because of its not only good education methods but how they give importance to extracurriculars. Lots of fest and programs which is a mind blowing and freshening for the students as well. Admission eligibility depends on which departments you choose

- Spring fest is the most important festival celebrated in the college as all the students studying in these college like to enjoy the moment
- The college environment is fresh and surrounded by forest also good teaching stuffs
Dislikes
- The toilet are not so clean water in the toilet is sometimes unavailable
- The college road is in bad condition if the authority looks towards this then it will be better to travel

This college is for first grade students and highly standard it is surrounded by forest and have a cold temperature.I choose this college because it's is the best college in our state this college provide many facilities to study it also have computer lab library mesuem and department fest

- The structure of the college is excellent thereby attracting more students or so. The college also has a huge campus of around 4-5 acres of land.
- The college environment is excellent with a touch of serene. The college is located at the top of Jakhama mountain which gives a great view for everyone. The college also has a chill environment since it is located in the cold area
Dislikes
- Attendance because the college has a high percentage for students attendance
- Toilets are not clean because it's not washed often

The Admission process usually involves entrance exam or oral test by the respective incharges. The students with percentage of 70% or above are usually let in without any entrance exam. We can find application forms through online as well as from the college.

- I like most of the things, like the playground and basketball ground. They are wonderful
- I like the library, we could find almost any book inside it
Dislikes
- Nothing i could mention about. Its only the network that i expect to be better
- I would love everyone to join this college once they completed their class 12

I think the admission is very rush. The college provides Admission for all based on merit, but often mostly "first come first". The slots for each departments gets filled very quickly so, one must be quick to apply their admission on or day after the college has officially announced as 'Admission Day'.

- Students always dirty the toilet they don't flash properly
- The road of the college is very bad during rainy is difficult to walk

- The student teacher relationship that exist is the one thing which I like the most, though they were our teachers beyond the walls of they classes they were our best friends
- The co-curricular activities,the clubs and associations the departments each had their own fest,there are also several programs and events that gets organised by the college which really fostered our talents and confidence
Dislikes
- The arrogance of some faculty members, over all the management is very astounding but there are also some times where they become a little arrogant and expects us to be robots
- The road connectivity to the college,this matter is actually to be taken up by the government and the village council but besides that the college has enough resources to steadily improve it but there has been little to no effort

A candidate should have a minimum of 55% for taking admission in the college However the admission is further filtered and the candidates are selected based on their marks The application forms are given out in various locations in and around the college It can also be availed in the college website And it is also announced in local newspapers Some reservations are given to catholic students As explained there are two types of exams in a semester We get ample time and the exams are easy The admission is done only in the campus and cannot be done via online

- The indoor stadium is great as it is used for multi purpose stuffs like playing badminton and used for programmes

- There's only two canteen in the entire college
- The college is located at the peak of the mountain so it's hard to go to college for the students

During the admission there is a policy of first comes first with the securance of first division. During the admission period lots of students comes from different places so it causes a big problem leading to rushing and congestedness.The college should set a certain limit for the admission like 500 admissions per day so that the students won't rush during the admission

This college is one of the biggest and top college of North East India with an enrollment of 4900 students indulging Undergraduate and Postgraduate, there also lots of fun and activities in this college unlike many colleges in India, Spring Fest is one of the biggest events of this college.

I choose this college because it gave me exposure and opportunities I needed to develop myself. Moreover we get opportunities to get exposed to the other world by going on tours, study trips, etc, they also provide additional courses like tourism and counseling, paving the way to understand new methods and techniques to understand the new updates of the world. Moreover there are a lot of extra curricular activities which we can take part in to gain extra credits which can be used while applying for jobs and all. I did my admission on the 1 week of May and was allocated in on the basis of merit. It gives me a leverage to discover myself and expose myself to the opportunities and curriculums around me to mold myself into being a better person.
