Likes
- The student teacher relationship that exist is the one thing which I like the most, though they were our teachers beyond the walls of they classes they were our best friends
- The co-curricular activities, the clubs and associations the departments each had their own fest, there are also several programs and events that gets organised by the college which really fostered our talents and confidence
- The importance given to our culture, though the college has many new technologies programs and facilities it has also always remembered our roots our culture and have been instrumental in inculcating it in our studies
Dislikes
- The arrogance of some faculty members, over all the management is very astounding but there are also some times where they become a little arrogant and expects us to be robots
- The road connectivity to the college, this matter is actually to be taken up by the government and the village council but besides that the college has enough resources to steadily improve it but there has been little to no effort
- The Reluctancy of sharing the campus WiFi,though it’s supposed to be for all the members of the college but it’s not given to the students
Course Curriculum Overview
I have pursued science till my 12, but my interest soon shifted to civil services and so I wanted to either take history or political science as my majors and eventually I decided to take history The course has offered me excellent teaching and better understanding of the history of the world,India and my state Nagaland The course could be a little more elaborative in the history of the Asian peninsula Only the important events and countries have been highlighted Their are 2 exams in a semester 1.internal exams This exams is part of our internal marks And we are meant to study 2-3 units for 30 marks which is then converted to 10 marks for our internals The timing is 2 hours 2. Semester exams This exams is for our external marks And 5 units come for the exam The time allotted is 3 hrs The the exams are very easy if we study and in my opinion should be a little more difficult
Internships Opportunities
The internships are unfortunately only available to the department of commerce and business administration Therefore our department don't get to do internships However I being in the students council have some knowledge about it The internship are not organised by the college and the students have to find their own way to get internships And the internships are done all over India based on their availability
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is 1500 per month and the hikes can be done without prior notice to the students or parents The fees for one academic year is 32000 And the complete fees for the course would be around 1 lakh However if we include our hostel fees the amount will increase further The college does not provide any scholarships, but the students avails scholarships through the state scholarships programs I have been in the students council but there are no stipends awarded for our services However the college offers such awards to the students employed in canteen and the library as part time workers

Faculty
There are around 100 teachers and but the student teacher ratio is a little un even In some class one teacher teaches around 160 students, which is rather inconvenient for the students and also the teachers The teachers however are very hardworking and dedicated they are also very learned and highly qualified most of the teachers have their UGC NET overall they are very professional We can interact with our teachers almost anytime of the day Infact some teachers are also available even during the nights for any doubts and explanations They are also very happy to help us with our problems beyond of our academics
