Entrance Preview

I opted for this college because this college is one of the top most colleges in Nagaland with the best infrastructure and good environment away from the Main capital city. And for which I took up my studies in Bachelor of Arts in Political science Department.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would say its fantastic for many students to engage in various activities apart from the regular classroom activities.we have different clubs, organisations like NSS, NCC, Students Council, annual sports week, hostel weeks, Spring Fest, Cultural competitions, beauty pageant, etc.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, we do provide internship for the campus dwellers and students from nearby the college. The college provides internship for BBA student and there is the availability of part-time jobs for the students in library and in Internet room as an Internet Attendee. Approximate amount for internship depends on the organizations where the department.

Placement Experience

1.5

There are placements and within the campus for the students. There are job fair events from time to time for the students of BBA and Other general students of final year. With this many students opportunity to avail this services provided by the management.

College Events

5

some of the important events that our college had been observing are discussed below. 1. Freshers meet for the general and freshers meet in department wise. 2. Social parting for common and farewell programme in department wise. 3.College fest as St. Joseph day since its the patron saint of the college. 4. Spring fest as an annual important event with cultural show cast, food, competitions in folk songs, traditional dances, ingenious games and sports etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Comparing to other colleges in Nagaland, the fees are feasible and not way too expensive. The admission range from 20,000 to 22,000 and monthly fees are being given on an installment basis. The monthly fees for honors students range from 1200 to 1300 for different stream

Fees and Financial Aid

yes, there is a scholarship for students provided by the management who excel well in Academic records.

Campus Life

2.5

There is a huge difference in gender ration while comparing with other colleges in Nagaland. Most, fortunately, the students of girls outnumbered the male folks in the campus. With this, there is a massive competition in each field of activities today. There are the gems of our college.

Hostel Facilities

3

I would rate 8 out of 10 stars. It is because the mess food and the fees are way too cheap with good quality food which is run by the priest. The admission for each year will range from 11400 to 13000 approximately, however, we cannot be denied the facilities like internet facilities, food, hostel week, church activities, picnic are all too amazing.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes it is useful for the students and I benefited personally in various occasions like getting help for interviews and getting other social benefits.

Exam Structure

The exam structures are attached with Nagaland University with Semester for all the departments. they are 6 semesters as a compulsory duration of courses. And apart from it, there internal exams for each end's semester and other assignments like paper presentations, seminars, tests, class teaching etc.

Admission

I was lucky to get advertisement in a daily news items for admission notice .The admission was simple and transparent for all. After having selected for admission, Dad and myself were asked by Principal for final round of interview like for all the students does. After which the admission process was done without any rush since it was done in departmental wise with many volunteers.

Faculty

4

Faculty members in all the departments are well equipped in their own field of experts.

I took up English because i wanted to see change in my self . Personally, i find 3rd sem course boring and old fashioned! I like how English department teachers maintain an active co curriculum activities to make the students engaged in the subject I think it will be great if they encourage explosure learning and observatory learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose for Economics because for me unlike other subject economics is a reliable course which has a good rate of success in career and also has things to do with real life implications. Everything around us that involves money is economics! From exports and imports to buying sugar from the local shops involves the fundamentals of economics, therefore I think taking economics provides a lead in life because it teaches us how the economic world functions and provides knowledge both mathematically and theoretically which keeps us updated and aware. Unlike other subjects which has limited exams and only allows the students to write specific exams, economics has exams its own exam which provides us employment in the financial sectors and also if a person does not want to opt for it they can also appear other exams which provides them advantage. However, learning is great but learning and implying the learned knowledge makes us know more about the learned topics, therefore I would also like to say that providing students the opportunity to explore and giving them the chance to imply those mathematical equations in real life could be an area the institution could work better on.

Welll !! The course curriculum is quite well and good ! They provide proper application and further information about the course and on how to pursuit the course. Well! The course got to lessen the units for the core papers since it's too lengthy and many a times teachers find difficulty in providing the notes and explanation. If the teachers are finding it difficult it's obvious that we the students faces Total difficulty in preparimg for our exams

Remarks:

Our college has all the infrastructures that a student need for basic learning but not all for a complete standardized exposure linked to our talents. The attendance weight age is quite attentively followed and students may be dropped just because of the attendance. It's quite far from here town so, usually alot of people stay in the hostel, and staying in the hostel seems to be painful since the areas adjoin the college is a highway, and we don't have access to towns and good shops nearby in order to get our need full filled. Apart from my studies I'm also having a good time with my professors.
