I appreciate of the infrastructure of this college
Everyone in college is kindly and helpfull
All teachers of my classroom is well educated and they use a technique to teach topic

Inside the campus food is slightly costly
Soft skill teacher didn't give full marks in CA they set upper limit 22 out of 30 marks
Food of mess is good in fast few days but after one month food is very bad .

I used to take b.tech (CSE) course because of i am interested in coding,I want to become full stack developer.Curriculum of this university is updated and improvements is need in some subject like cse 111 , because in this subject teacher is only reading ppt. In class

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise -fees is Rs. 280000 after scholarship I get addmission in Rs.210000 after given lpu nest exam and I got 294 out of 400 marks and I got categorised scholarship, hostel and mess fee is not included in this fee amount only tution fee is 280000par year

Campus Life

LPU’s classrooms are equipped with modern technology, including smartboards, projectors, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Library of the University is very big over 20000 books is available. clubs organize events, workshops, and training sessions that help students enhance their skills and network with peers and professionals in their fields.

Hostel Facilities

LPU offers different types of accommodation options for students, including dormitories, shared rooms (2-seater, 3-seater), and single rooms. Students can choose between air-conditioned (AC) and non-AC rooms based on their preferences and affordability. Quality of meal which is given is mess is average sometimes chapati is somewhere raw.

Admission

I am jee students but I didn't score much percentile so my brother suggested me LPU ,and eligibility of getting addmission in lpu is to 60% marks in 12th board and one exam is taken from LPU which is LPUNEST and I got 294 out of 400 in exam so I get scholarship and get addmission.

Faculty

The faculty - to- students ratio is 1:35 in theory classes but in lecture class ratio is 1:70. I like the math teacher of my class because they use a different technique to study students they use simple words to describe

LPU Jalandhar is a nest!

Placement Experience:

Over a crore package too have been inked form LPU, CSE and that itself is more than enough to justify my call to Study here. Highest package was of 1.03 crores and average still stands at 8 lakhs around. The big thing is nearly 2500 students in CSE and still all are finding a shot to try for placements.

LPU has no errors!

Placement Experience:

Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

As I mentioned this college is new and they have no past data to show about their placement but they have good tie up with some of the giants of industry including IBM and when their SME comes to provide lectures ut really boosts your energy and motivation. My Journey and experience at my College

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

LPU is indeed a professional university!

Placement Experience:

Around 600 recruiters so far has hired students from LPU. Not just domestic but even international names have hired students from LPU. So, I don't think one even has to look beyond LPU for that matter. I am happy that students from here have got the opportunity to work in their dream companies and soon I will be giving interviews as I am also in my final year now.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

On campus Placements are average here. The highest package goes to 19 lakhs and Average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. However we can not expect any MNC to visit this campus but the companies for freshers and to gain experience visit the campus.

Facts About LPU
