What Students Say

Likes

Things I like is the supportive faculty who are approachable and willing to help students with both academic and career related guidance. The college provides good infrastructure including well equipped laboratories and a good library and a ground.
Regular Seminars, Workshops, and technical events helps students gain exposure beyond the syllabus. The campus atmosphere encourages, learning, team work and participation in extra curricular activities. The college also supports student inInternship
I like most my friends who has always motivated for studies

Dislikes

On the other hand there are few areas where improvements can be made.Industry exposure and placement opportunity can be enhanced further
Especially with more collaborations with product based Companies
There is also limited flexibility in academic schedules and some facilities can be upgraded to match modern industries standard

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum as good and reasonably comprehensive in terms of relevance and academic coverage. One of the main factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was the strong foundation in computer science

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of Btech CSE is at GGI is charged on a yearly basis For my batch year- wise fees are approximately are as follows 1st year - 1,00,000 2nd year - 95000 3rd year - 95000 4th year - 95000 Total fee is 3.6 to 3.8 lakhs

Campus Life

Campus Life is balanced with academics and activities. Annual Cultural and technical fests are held yearly , usually in spring . The library has adequate books and journals , classrooms are well equipped , and sports clubs are well developed

Admission

I choose this college due to affordable fees, proximity to my hometown , and availability of my preferred CSE(IOT) specialization . I applied to a few private colleges but choose this for easier admission via merit- based eligibility .

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio in my college is approximately 1:30 which allows reasonable interaction between students and teachers . Overall the faculty - student relationship is professional and supportive.

Night Life

Nightlife is limited and Calm . Hostel entry is usually by 9-10 pm , campus closed early and Library/ Cafeteria shut by evening . Students unwind at hostels, nearby cafes , gyms , or public sopts. The locality is generally safe at night

LPU has no errors!

Placement Experience:

Mid cap to large cap, every company that can afford our students services are invited to our university for hiring students. Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. No students of our university recruited have come under fire and therefore the companies which have laid faith in LPU students have kept hiring year after year.

Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

Hustle and Memory I'll always cherish

Placement Experience:

As I mentioned this college is new and they have no past data to show about their placement but they have good tie up with some of the giants of industry including IBM and when their SME comes to provide lectures ut really boosts your energy and motivation. But still there can't be any assurance of placement as of now untill our batch get placed successfully

LPU is indeed a professional university!

Placement Experience:

Around 600 recruiters so far has hired students from LPU. Not just domestic but even international names have hired students from LPU. So, I don't think one even has to look beyond LPU for that matter. I am happy that students from here have got the opportunity to work in their dream companies and soon I will be giving interviews as I am also in my final year now.

Placement Experience:

from 6 semester only students are getting placed in most companies like tcs,visa.TCS every year they make 300-400 offers and famous companies like visa do in less count like 10-50 and the average package is 6 LPA and the highest package is 30-40 LPA.60-70% of students are getting placed every year.my plan is to earn a job after the degree and grow there

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Campus Review for IKGPTU, Amritsar Campus

Placement Experience:

On campus Placements are average here. The highest package goes to 19 lakhs and Average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. However we can not expect any MNC to visit this campus but the companies for freshers and to gain experience visit the campus.

First of all i went to LPU which is no 1 in punjab ranking, when i visited it my experience was very good and placement was also good but the fees structure of every course was very high like if i talk about BCA then its fee was 180000 which was not right for me, so i did not take admission in LPU but the college was very good and i also went to geeta university in a panipat and no one knowledge about that college because it was in a remote area and the students there also explained to me that either do not take admission or you will have to pay fine after fine, this college is not good, so i dod not take admission there i did not take it and then i looked at IKGPTU where i am currentlu studying it was a budget college and not to far from my home and the course fees were also reasonnable, so i took admission...Read More
