- I didn't liked some locals as they even though knowing we don't know Punjabi talks in Punjabi.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is the highest order the largest crowd puller of most universities today and same is the case with ours. LPU demand has skyrocketed not just in all the parts of the country but many NRI students too study here. So the level of competence is high and competition is not just within but overall as well.
Placement Experience
Around 600 recruiters so far has hired students from LPU. Not just domestic but even international names have hired students from LPU. So, I don't think one even has to look beyond LPU for that matter. I am happy that students from here have got the opportunity to work in their dream companies and soon I will be giving interviews as I am also in my final year now.
Fees and Financial Aid
LPU CSE program is best in North India and fees is also even after the largest private university it's much lesser than many. Our fees is 2.6 lakhs per year as it's 1.18 lakhs a semester and then 2-3k for the exam fees and all. If somebody wants a recheck then there's extra fees for that as well. Hostel charges depends on the residential block you choose.
Campus Life
Since LPU has students of all states they host a large event called One India, One World where international students are asked to explain or show their culture and students of different states showcase theirs. Sanidhya is one musical night fest and likewise many intra university fests and all keeps happening at LPU.
Hostel Facilities
Our rooms are actually a residential building just like flat systems. So we have a hall and a room and then attached washroom. So, it actually feels like we are living in a rented appartment. Food since it's all vegetarian I am so happy that this system is here.
Admission
As soon as I was searching for options which are not that expensive and provides best facilities and academics. LPU trust me is the best that I figured out and gave LPU NEST. Students who score well there are also offered some fine scholarships too.
Faculty
LPU exams are generally not difficult for the ones who have studied and attended practicals. Our faculties are mostly south Indians and it's a rare combination as faculties from South teaching in a University in Deep North. The gist of the matter is best are hired by LPU irrespective of the region they belong to.
Night Life
LPU itself has everything that apart from movies I have never gone out for anything. You want a gyn, we have it here. You need bank, you have multiple ATMs inside. Also restaurant, salon and all the facilities for which one usually or ideally has to go out we have them all inside our own campus.
