SRCC- A beautiful journey

The first thing that make me to choose this course is the interest in the subject i am from commerce background and i find my interest in the commerce field that is why i choose BCOM HONS. This programme of of University Of Delhi is designed to enable and empower students to acquire knowledge,skillsand abilites to analyse and synthesize the contemprorary realities pertaining to the domain of business. This course is designed in very appropriate manner so ther is no such improvements in the course and the teaching methods in SRCC is very excellent getting taught from the top commerce educators make this course more valuable. The exams are conducted twice a year and students have to appear in 7 exams the passing marks are fixed at 40% and the level of difficulty is easy to moderate if you perform good in your internals than there is high chances of scoring high in overall examination.

Last year various companies visited in SRCC ie year 2024 like SBI,ICICI bank, KPMG, Google etc. and the students are offered various opportunities to gain corporate experience alongwith the experience which the students might get but also students are offered very lucrative stipend in the year 2024 the highest stipend offered was 2.2 lakh per month and the average stipend offered was 48.8 thousands per month. A total of 120+ internships offer are made to students. There is no specific information available on the projects nad outcomes but overall experience of the placements was very smooth students are able to clarify the tasks in very convenient manner and are placed in their dreams corporation. SRCC has a large network from where it is able to capture the corporation and place its students SRCC has a strong alumni connect the placement cell continues to work for the benefits of the students and there are various training and workshops for overall students developement.

In the final year of their course students became eligible to sit in the placements. There is no such information available about the companies that visited SRCC and made no offer but some company likes deloitee, paytm, zomato, HSBC, MCKinsey & Company, HCL etc. visited SRCC in the year 2024 and made offers to the students. The highest package offered in the year 2024 was 35 LPA, average package for the same year was 10.15 lakh per annum and the median package was 8 lakh per annum. There are hundred+ recruiters and a total of 500+ offers were made and about 50 to 60 percent student got offers from the company. I personally have plans to opt for Master of Business of Adminstration from reputed institute of the country and carry on my academic journey.

First year, I paid 29000 ruppees as college fees for BCOM HONS 1 year, second year, 31670 ruppees as tuition fees, and third year, 29740 ruppees. If a student opts to live in hostel, the hostel fees are approximately 80000-100000. Because SRCC is a government-funded institution, there is no division of fees. The first year fee is 29000 rupees and there are no other expenses. A second-year UR student's fee is 32420 rupees, a ST student's fee is 31670 rupees, a SC student's fee is 31670 rupees, a PWD student's fee is 90 rupees, and a foreign student's fee is 54200 rupees. Several scholarship options are available in the institution that students can apply to. The college will provide scholarships to students according to their need and merit. Both types of scholarships are included so students can choose the scholarship that best matches their needs and interests. A few scholarship programs are Reliance Scholarship, LG'Good Scholarship, Paras Scholarship, NSP Scholarship, etc.

In SRCC evert day is festival in the fest seasons you will find everyday something in the auditorium of the college. but the three main fest in the SRCC which are conducted every year are Business conclave in which variour corporate leaders are invited in the college for speech this is a conducted for 2 to 3 days,second is Crossroads in which celebrities from various fields are invited in the college and the 3rd main event is annual sports meet in which students of differnt colleges of delhi university participate in different sports, apart from this respectative socities organise various events in day to day working of the college and various celebrities are called. SRCC library is the biggest library in the delhi university you will find books related to commerce field and journals in the library. The classrooms is equipped with digital class, centralised AC and computer labs.SRCC is student run college which means that there is union of student and every year election are conducted

I appeared for CUET exam in 2023 and you need to prepare preference list in Delhi University CSAS protal I gave SRCC 1 preference in the list and I got this college in the first round in my list 2 and 3 option was Hindu and Hansraj college respectively. I choose this college over other college in the country because of its brand value SRCC is considerd as one of the top commerce college in India many great magazine like India today and Outlook has given SRCC no.1 rank in commerce category for best commerce college in the country and NIRF gave SRCC 19th rank in 2024 in its annual college ranking category in India. The admission process for SRCC has changed after the introduction of CUET now students have to give this exam in ant four subject which they have studied in class 12th Accountancy/Maths compulsory and have to score good marks in exam after that they can fill CSAS form of Delhi University and make there preferences college will be alloted on the merit basis.

The faculty to student ration is 1:21 and if we talk about teacher to student relationship it is very good teacher teaches student in very convenient and friendly manner there is no understanding barrier between student and the teacher, teachers are very approachive and are very well educated and qualified they make sure in the class that every student pay attention and understand the concepts and also they focous on overall developement of the student so apart from the main topocs they conduct many extra activites in the class.
