Course Curriculum Overview

The course is apt for anyone who wants to pursue a career in this field. It deals with each and every subject required to become an engineer. However some changes can be brought up as per the new education policy and the requirement of the course

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

After 6 sem students are eligible to sit in campus placement. Various companies like TCS, airtel and start-ups recruits from our college. Avg package is 5-7 lpa. Whereas highest package accounts to 52 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fee accounts to 1.5 l.. which includes registration fee, library charges and caution fee also As we jump to next year fees decreases(like 2nd year fee is 1,31,000) There are scholarships for EWS category

Campus Life

Various fests are organised in college like GATES-annual tech fest of GTBIT. Books are easily available in book bank issued for entire semester. Sports and extra - curricular activities are also fine. Societies like swaas,dlc,natya,Luna ,IEEE ,GDG are also there

Admission

I chose this college because it has affordable fee structure as compared to other colleges. It also has a vibrant atmosphere. College packages are decent too. Also at the end we are getting a degree from ggsipu , a renowned university

Faculty

The faculty is supportive and understanding. They are very helpful and easy to deal with. Exam pattern comprises of 2 mid term and 1 end term in each sem. 60/40 marking scheme is there. Papers are easy to medium level hard.

Placement Experience:

From 3 year onwards on campus internship will start and I am in second year so I didn't know about how much package and placement ratio but like Average package for cse 23 lakhs per annum and highest is 82 lakhs per annum and one time highest package in cse is like 1 cr

Placement Experience:

Placements were supposed to be very goood but last year it was average the average package is about 12 lpa and median is about 9lpa this is the reality.If you look at other website they will show the higher data but this is reality.You need atleat 8.5 cgpa as a secure benchmark to take part in placcement.About 70% of the student get placed

My honest experience at a GGSIPU university

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. The cutoff for this college is you'll get CSE branch if your rank is below 3L and CSE specialised branch if rank is below 5L for IT below 6-7L....Read More

Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there.
