College Review

The College is a new one but it is doing a very good job and the results are being seen. Surely I will not recommend this college to someone who has scored exceptionally good marks in CET but those who have got 60-75% marks in CET, then this college is the best available for them.

Entrance Exam

The Course is a little outdated of our SPPU University. The exams are taken in three stages. Two online exams which are based on MCQ and the final exam which is a theory paper. The online exams are of 25marks and the theory is 50 marks.

College guarantee's 100% placement and allows for an internship. Though the college is not in favor of internship yet is provides support for it and gives the required permission. The college puts all its effort to provide placement to all its students.

The college has a list of events such as Technovanza, Ankuran, etc. Each department has its own event. And there is a grand cultural feast at the end of the year. There are lots of technical events which include coding, sports, debate, extempore, etc.

The fee structure is quite feasible and that's what makes our college stand out from other colleges. The fees of other colleges are 20-30K more compared to our college. Though the fees are less, yet all the facilities are provided and in fact many more facilities compared to other colleges.

There are many scholarship schemes available. The first one being OBC wherein a person of Maharashtra having an obc certificate can get a fee waiver of 40% and even get a scholarship. Even the students can apply for TFWS during admission and if they meet the criteria their fee is reduced to 10K/year.

Our college boasts about the extracurricular activities and they stand true about it. There are loads of tournaments organized which include football, cricket, badminton, Kabaddi, etc. Labs here are of a very good standard and college provides a very good infrastructure of labs.

The hostel is a little expensive though. But it has very good infrastructure and connectivity. It provides good food and service. A/C rooms are available and the hostel is nearby college. Our hostel is rated one of the best in Pune.

The alumni are frequently called by the college to give seminars on what the market requirements are and thus they prove to be very helpful. The seniors are ever ready to help out and they never make us feel that they are superior. It's a big family of students and teachers.

The admission is based on a state board centralized process wherein we apply for the list of colleges we want and then we get college based on our marks in MHT-CET i.e. Merit Based. We have an option to either freeze that college and confirm it or go for the next round of admission.

The faculty is experienced as well as helpful. The teachers are quite young and understand the psychology of students. They are always ready to help students not just in academics but also in the rest of the things. The staff is a little strict though.
